Saturday's Chili - 30-Minute Turkey Chili

30-Minute Turkey Chili

1 tablespoon canola oil
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground chili powder
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 (14.5-ounce) can no salt added diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (14.5-ounce) can tomato sauce
2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup frozen corn kernels
2 cups cubed JENNIE-O® Extra Lean Oven Roasted Turkey Breast
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
tortilla chips, if desired

In large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook 5 minutes or until softened, stirring occasionally. Add cumin, chili powder, cinnamon, oregano and bay leaves. Stir 1 minute or until fragrant.

Add cocoa powder, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, black beans, corn and turkey. Cook, uncovered, 10 minutes or until hot. Add cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips, if desired.
