Leftovers - White Cheddar Chipotle Pasta and Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage

Dinner Tonight: Leftovers - White Cheddar Chipotle Pasta and Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage

Rainy night and morning, most of the week is supposed to be that way. I made a Breakfast Sandwich this morning using a toasted Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin, 4 slices Boar's Head Black Forest Ham, and 1 slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Swiss Cheese. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast did a few things around the house and then did some cleaning up on the computer, scans and deletions and such. When the rain slowed in the afternoon went to the rehab unit and stayed with Dad a while, he started therapy today and was tired so I didn't stay long. He did good in the therapy session but he's a ways away from coming home. For dinner tonight it was Leftovers! I reheated the White Cheddar Chipotle Pasta and Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage leftover from last night.

Last night's meal of White Cheddar Chipotle Pasta and Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage was so good that the leftovers are now tonight's dinner! I just enjoyed everything about the meal. Pasta and Sausage in a White Cheddar, Chipotle Seasoned, Sauce. Some nice heat and a nice thick Sauce. The Zatarain's White Cheddar Chipotle Pasta Dinner Mix is a great item to have on hand in the pantry! Below is the original post from yesterday's meal, love them leftovers!

I came across this while at Meijer a couple of weeks ago and just getting around to trying it,
Zatarain's White Cheddar Chipotle Pasta Dinner Mix. To make it I'll need; 1 package Zatarain’s® White Cheddar Chipotle Pasta Dinner Mix, 1 package Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausages (cut into 1/2-inch slices), 2 cups 2% Milk, and 1 cup Water.

To prepare it cook the sausage in large skillet on medium heat for 5 minutes or until lightly browned;
stirring occasionally. Drain fat from skillet. Stir in the milk, water and Pasta Dinner Mix. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Reduced the heat to low; covered and simmered 15 minutes (until pasta is tender), stirring occasionally. When done removed it from the heat. Let it stand 5 minutes. The sauce thickened upon standing. Just stir before serving.

And its another winning dish from Zatarain's! The White Cheddar Chipotle Pasta is fantastic. Nice and Cheesy with a hint of heat, and I added a few shakes of Frank's Hot Sauce and a sprinkle of Kroger Private Selection Shredded 3 Cheese Blend. Excellent Pasta and Sausage Dish! I also had baked a loaf of Pillsbury Italian Loaf Bread. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.
