Hawaiian Turkey Hot Dogs
Get more creative with your turkey dogs by adding more zip than the usual mustard and ketchup defaults. This topping is a mixture of pineapple, jalapeno, honey, onion that just might change the way you do hotdogs forever.
2 cups chopped fresh pineapple
¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
1 jalapeno, seeded minced
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon honey
⅛ teaspoon salt
8 JENNIE-O® Turkey Franks
8 hot dog buns
1) In medium bowl, combine pineapple, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, honey and salt; set aside.
2) Prepare grill for medium-high heat. Grill turkey franks 4 to 5 minutes or until slightly charred and heated through. Place turkey franks into buns. Top with pineapple mixture.
