Barbeque Pineapple Turkey Burger
Add some Polynesian flare to your grill with barbeque sauce-infused pineapple turkey burgers! Topped with pepper-jack cheese, fresh pineapple, cilantro leaves and a potato bun, you’ll be luau ready in 30 minutes or less.
1 (2-pound) carton JENNIE-O® Turkey Burgers - All White Meat
6 fresh pineapple slices
6 potato buns, toasted
6 slices pepper jack cheese
fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
barbeque sauce, if desired
1) Cook turkey burgers as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Set aside.
2) Grill pineapple for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until heated through and grill marks appear.
3) Place turkey burger on bun bottom. Top with cheese, pineapple, barbeque sauce and cilantro, if desired.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
