Diabetic Dish of the Week - Crock Pot Chicken Tagine

For this week's Diabetic Dish of the Week, Crock Pot Chicken Tagine. Easy Crock Pot Moroccan Chicken Recipe.

Crock Pot Chicken Tagine

Serves: 4-6 servings
2 Tablespoons Dried Oregano
2 Teaspoons Seasoned Salt
2 Teaspoons Pureed Garlic
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 Lemon, thinly sliced
1/2 Cup Dry White Wine
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Cup Pitted Prunes
1/2 Cup Pitted Green Olives
1/4 Cup Raisins
2 Tablespoons Capers
Chopped Fresh Cilantro

1 - Coat inside of crock pot with non stick spray or insert crock pot liner and spray with non stick spray.
2 - Stir Oregano, Salt, Garlic, and Pepper in a small bowl. Rub evenly onto Chicken.
3 - Arrange Chicken with Lemon Slices between pieces. Pour Wine over Chicken; Sprinkle with Oil. Add Prunes, Olives, Raisins, and Capers. Cover; cook on low 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. Garnish with Cilantro, serve with side dishes.
