Today's Menu: Izzy’s Lean Corned Beef Sandwich w/ Pringle Fat-Free Chips
A little warmer out today and a bit of humidity. They say it's going to cool back down next week. Started off with one great Breakfast; 1 Egg Sunnyside Up, 2 Jennie - O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, Jalapeno Cheddar Diced Potatoes (Leftover from dinner last night), Whole Grain Toast, and a hot cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea! That's a good way to start the day. Later in the day we went toa Birthday Party for my Aunt. She lives at an area Assisted Living Center and they had the party there. Really didn't feel like cooking tonight so I shut that Kitchen down! Tonight its Izzy’s Lean Corned Beef Sandwich w/ Pringle Fat-Free Chips.
As always when I have Corned Beef it's from Izzy's, Izzy’s Lean Corned Beef Sandwich. Plus with their “Lean” version of the Corned Beef it makes it healthier than most also. The sandwich contains 170 calories and 16 carbs per serving (1/2 Sandwich) and 340 calories and 32 carbs for a Full Sandwich. I had the Full Sandwich along with a serving of Pringle Fat-Free Chips and they’re 70 calories and 14 net carbs per serving. Then to go along with it all I had an Ice-Cold Diet Dr. Pepper, 0 calories and 0 carbs. Love sticking a small bottle of Dr. Pepper in the freezer for a bit, just enough to get a layer of ice forming on it! For dessert later a bowl of Breyer's Carb Smart Vanilla Ice Cream topped with some fresh sliced Peaches.
