Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage W/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage (On Bun) W/ Baked Fries

Another one of those long and frustrating days around here. Spent most of the day on the phone with doctors and Hoveround. After 5 years they replace my Hoveround Mobility Chair with a new one, Medicare law. With my old doctor that approved everything retired I have to go through the new doctor and it hasn't been easy! It's been one foul up after another. I finally got everything worked out about 3:00 this afternoon, I'll shut-up about it now. Had to vent a bit. Anyway for dinner I prepared a Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage (On Bun) W/ Baked Fries.

I used Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I took one of the Sausages and cut it in half. Using a medium size skillet, I sprayed it with Pam cooking Spray, added a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and heated it on medium. When the skillet was heated up I added the Turkey Sausage. I cooked it until the skin casing started to brown and then flipped it over and continued cooking for another 4 minutes. When browned and heated through I topped it with French's Spicy Brown Mustard and served it on an Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun. Love these Sausages, plump and full of flavor! I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Mousse.
