Pizza Bread 2 Ways

Dinner Tonight: Pizza Bread 2 Ways



We have a gorgeous day out there today! No rain, no humidity, and plenty of sunshine! Had a high of 81 and all that humidity is gone. Had Ham and Cheese on a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin for Breakfast. Had to run an errand for Mom and then to Kroger to pick up a few items for dinner tonight. Back home and got the cart out and rode around enjoying this beautiful day. For dinner tonight I prepared Pizza Bread 2 Ways.







I got the idea for this recipe from the Pioneer Woman - Ree Drummond, who has so many delicious recipes. She had made Pizza Bread 6 Ways on her show. To prepare the Pizza Bread - I'll need; Pizza Base: 3 deli rolls or small Baguettes (halved), One 24-ounce jar Marinara Sauce, four 8-ounce packages fresh Mozzarella (sliced). Then to make the Canadian Bacon and Pineapple Pizza Bread - 5 ounces Canadian bacon slices (halved), 8 ounces canned Dole  Pineapple Chunks. For the Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza Bread - Hormel Turkey Pepperoni Slices, sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms.




To prepare them; Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Lay the rolls cut-side up on a large baking sheet. Top each half with marinara sauce, followed by the mozzarella. Then add your toppings of choice. Once the pizzas are assembled, put the baking sheet on the lowest rack for 8 to 10 minutes. Then turn up the heat to 425 degrees F and put the sheet on the highest rack until the cheese starts to bubble a bit and turns golden. Remove and serve immediately! If you prefer you can cut the pizzas in half right across the middle so there are mini French bread pizzas. The perfect recipe for Pizza Bread! Fantastic flavor and tastes so fresh, and so easy to make. For dessert later a bowl of Del Monte No Sugar Added Sliced Peaches.
