Research Links Green Tea to Weight LossYear after year weight loss tops the list of New Year's resolutions – and with good reason. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that two out of every three U.S. adults are overweight or obese. There is a strong body of scientific evidence supporting the beneficial effects green tea can have on body weight, waist circumference and abdominal fat. 

Tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world, second only to water. Green tea in particular has gained great popularity in recent years, largely due to the tremendous amount of research showing its multiple health benefits.
