Dinner Tonight: Elk Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries
Started the morning off with one of my favorite Breakfast dishes, Skillet Potatoes and Ham. I used 1 package of Simply Potatoes Steakhouse Seasoned Diced Potatoes and a package of Meijer Diced Ham to prepare it. Just cook the Potatoes according to the package instructions and with about 5 minutes of cooking time left add the Diced Ham. Served it in a bowl and I topped it with a sprinkle of Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Just love starting off the day with a skillet meal!

To go with Elk Burger I baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Fries. Seasoned them with Salt and Pepper and served with a side of Hunt's Ketchup. For dessert tonight a bowl of Breyer's Low Carb Vanilla Bean Ice Cream topped with some Smucker's Sugarless Hot Fudge Chocolate Topping.

Elk is very easy to cook. But it cooks fast because it's leaner than beef. Rule of thumb, elk takes 3/4 of the time to cook than beef.
