Chicken Parmesan w/ Whole Grain Spaghetti and Italian Loaf Bread


Today's Menu: Chicken Parmesan w/  Whole Grain Spaghetti and Italian Loaf Bread




It's Chicken Parmesan night! I'm going with an easy Chicken Parmesan recipe. I used a package of Thin Cut Chicken Breasts. I seasoned them with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper I then whisked together 1 egg and a 1/2 cup of 2% milk. Then dip the chicken breasts in milk and egg mixture and then in Italian Style Bread Crumbs. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken in the hot oil on both sides until golden, about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Set chicken in a baking dish.
Slice 8 pieces of mozzarella cheese and put two on each chicken breast. Pour 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce over all. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a little more mozzarella and bake at 350° for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until bubbly. It's a simple but delicious recipe! If you like Chicken Parm try this one out one night. The Chicken is just too good!

I served the Chicken Parm on a bed of Spaghetti. I used Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Grain Spaghetti. I also baked some Walmart Marketside Italian Loaf Bread. For dessert later a Blue Bunny Frozen Vanilla Bean/Chocolate Yogurt Bar.




Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:

4 boneless Chicken Breasts, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness or Thin Cut Chicken Breasts
1 Egg or 1/4 Cup Egg Beaters
1/2 cup 2% Milk
Progresso Italian Style Seasoned Bread Crumbs
2 to 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 small container of Baby Bella Mushrooms, Sliced
8 slices Kraft Sliced Provolone/Mozzarella Cheese, or more
1 jar (16 oz) spaghetti sauce, I used LaRosa Pasta Sauce
Parmesan Cheese
Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper, to taste
Serve with: Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Grain Spaghetti, Optional

Preparation:
