Today's Menu: Baked Honey Glazed Pork Chops w/ Sugar Snap Peas, Sliced Carrots, and Whole Grain Bread
It was Pork Chops tonight and another great Pork Recipe from Pork Be Inspired web site. The Pork Recipes are endless on this site! So tonight I went with the Baked Honey Glazed Pork Chops. I used Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper to season the Chop and Honey and Spenda Brown Sugar for my glaze. Season the Chops and brown them in a skillet. Remove chops. Place chops in 9x13-inch baking dish. Combine brown sugar and honey in small bowl. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 20 seconds; stir to combine. Spoon half of the honey mixture over tops of chops, spreading evenly.Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Turn chops; spoon remaining honey mixture over chops, spreading evenly. Bake until internal temperature is 160 degrees F, 15-20 minutes. Spoon the pan drippings over chops. Once again a keeper recipe from Pork Be Inspired! The Chops came out moist and had just a fantastic flavor from the Honey and Brown Sugar. I've left the full recipe and web link at the bottom of the post. The recipe is for 4 Chops and I cut in half and used it to prepare 2 Chops. You'll enjoy this one!
For sides I had Sugar Snap Peas, sliced Carrots, and Healthy Life Sliced Whole Grain Bread. For dessert/snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Jolly Time Pop Corn
Honey-Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients:
4 bone-in pork loin chops, 3/4-to-1-inch thick
salt, to taste
ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
Nonstick cooking spray
Cooking Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Coat large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat. Add pork chops. Cook until brown, turning once. Remove chops. Place chops in 9x13-inch baking dish. Combine brown sugar and honey in small bowl. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 20 seconds; stir to combine. Spoon half of the honey mixture over tops of chops, spreading evenly.
