Dinner Tonight: Panko Crusted Cod Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Another cloudy Spring Day here in good old West Chester! In the 60's again, so not all bad. Well with the Spring come the Cardinals. Perhaps one of the goofiest birds I've ever seen. Every Spring we have to put towels over our side car mirrors. For some reason they perch on the mirrors and peck at the mirrors and the car door. Then on top of that we have to clean up their messes, I'm using the word "mess" instead of a couple other descriptive words. A neighbor of ours has the same problem, it's always with the Cardinals and no other bird. Strange Birds indeed! For dinner tonight I prepared a Panko Crusted Cod Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.
To prepare the Cod I rinsed the fillets off with cold water and patted dry. Then seasoned them with
Sea Salt and Pepper. Combined the flour and both Garlic Powder and Onion powder then press both sides of fillet into flour for a light dusting , shaking off any excess flour. Dip the floured fillets into the Paprika seasoned Egg Beater’s, allowing excess to drip off. Place fillets, one at a time, in Panko Bread Crumbs, and lightly toss fillets until both sides are covered. Meanwhile, heat canola oil in a skillet and place the fillets in and saute 3 minutes each side, or until fillets are heated through and Panko Crust has browned. Served the fillet on a Kroger Lite Wheat Hamburger Bun.
To go with my Cod Sandwich I baked up some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Love Potatoes and love these fries! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Yogurt.

Pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Today's Menu: Pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Had to start my morning off by going to the Dermatologist, my least favorite doctor exam to go to. But I always have to play it safe being a Melanoma Cancer Survivor, so it's worth it. And everything has been looking so good the Doctor has moved my visits to just a yearly visit! I've come along way, health wise. Another cold morning, especially with the wind. Stopped by Kroger for Mom after the doctors and back home. Anyway for dinner tonight I prepared a Pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.
I used the Wild Idea Buffalo Pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast. This is so tender and incredibly flavorful. It comes already cooked and seasoned. It’s seasoned with, Organic Apple Cider, Organic Lime Juice, Onion Powder, Cumin, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Chili Powder, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Oregano, Cayenne Pepper. And that’s why it’s so flavorful! Delicious Buffalo Meat that you just heat and serve. I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Hamburger Bun and topped it with just a bit JB’s Fat Boy Chipotle BBQ Sauce. What a sandwich! For a side I baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.
Wild Idea Buffalo – 1 lb. Pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast
Our pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast is rubbed with our own blend of Mexican seasonings and then slowly braised to fall apart tender. We’ve done the work for you, so all you need to do is heat and eat! Use in all of your favorite Mexican dishes, like tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas. Or add your favorite barbecue sauce for great tasting B.B.Q. sandwiches!
1 lb. package.
Ingredients: Buffalo, Organic Apple Cider, Organic Lime Juice, Onion Powder, Cumin, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Chili Powder, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Oregano, Cayenne Pepper

“Not so Sloppy” Buffalo Joe w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: “Not so Sloppy” Buffalo Joe w/ Baked Fries
The mornings and days are getting cooler and cooler, about 34 degrees this morning and a cold wind blowing most of the day. They delivered my new Hoveround Mobility Chair this morning. Being an left leg amputee I'm not sure how it would be without my Hoveround! It's a lifesaver for me. Ran an errand for Mom and back home for the afternoon. For dinner tonight a favorite of mine, “Not So Sloppy” Buffalo Joe w/ Baked Fries.
It’s a delicious and a super easy meal to prepare. To make the Sloppy Joe I used Wild Idea Buffalo – Ground Round, 99% Lean (my favorite meat), 1 jar of Hormel Not So Sloppy Joe Sauce, and Healthy Life Whole Grain Buns.Using a large skillet to brown the Bison in, I seasoned it with Morton’s Salt Substitute, Ground Black Pepper, and Roasted Ground Cumin. After the Bison was browned and no longer pink I added the jar of Not So Sloppy Joe Sauce stirring and making sure the Sauce and Bison were well mixed. Simmer until it’s heated throughout, and serve. I love using Not So Sloppy Joe Sauce! It’s a good thick sauce well seasoned with Spices, Onions, Green Peppers among other ingredients (70 calories and 15 carbs per serving). Buffalo makes a great Sloppy Joe Sandwich. I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun with a side of Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Plenty of leftovers for Sandwiches for Lunch. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.
1 lb. Ground Round, 99% Lean
We use the Top Round and the Sirloin Tip cuts and remove all visible fat, for this 99% super lean ground steak. It's deep red color, dark rich taste, is deliciously low in calories and high in protein. Substitute for any of your favorite ground dishes. Also, delicious for the popular Lebanese dish, kibbeh (pictured) - recipe with purchase. 1 lb. package.

Hormel Not So Sloppy Joe Sauce
Richer and Thicker and Far From Ordinary
Not-So-Sloppy-Joe® sloppy joe sauce is as distinctive as its name. Not-So-Sloppy-Joe® sloppy joe sauce has a hint of barbecue flavor and is richer and thicker than other sloppy joe sauces.
Since its beginning in 1985, there’s been one very graphic way to show the thick and rich texture of Not-So-Sloppy-Joe® sloppy joe sauce: the “drip test.” When you hold up a sloppy joe made with Not-So-Sloppy-Joe® sloppy joe sauce, there are no drips. It’s that rich and thick.

Turkey Bacon and Muenster Cheese Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries
Today's Menu: Turkey Bacon and Muenster Cheese Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries
A beautiful Autumn Day outside today! Sunny and a high of about 61 degrees. Started off with a couple of Jennie - O Turkey Sausage Links, a Golden All Natural Potato Cake, a slice of Toast, and hot cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. A very good start to the day! Did some laundry and got the cart out and spent most of the afternoon riding around and enjoying the day. For dinner tonight it's a Turkey Bacon and Muenster Cheese Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.
I’m using the Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties. Their already pre-made Patties and come fresh or frozen so all I did was season it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper and fry! I fried them in Canola Oil about 8 minutes per side. I served the Burgers on Healthy life Whole Grain Bun and topped the Burger with Jennie - O Turkey Bacon and Kroger Private Selection Muenster Cheese. Love these Burgers!
Then for a side I baked up some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Free.

Another rainy day around here. For Breakfast this morning I made a Breakfast Sandwich. Also, as usual, I had a hot cup of Bigelow's Decaf Green Tea. With all the rain not a whole lot going on today. For dinner I prepared an Extra Sharp Cheddar and Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.
I used my favorite Buffalo, the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Buffalo Burgers. Just love these Buffalo Burgers.Preheated up a small skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray, seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it about 3 minutes per side, and done! I topped it with a fresh slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Extra Sharp Cheddar and Sauteed Mushrooms, served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun. Hard to beat these Wild Idea Buffalo Burgers, juicy and delicious!
Then for a side I baked up some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.

Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Today’s Menu: Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Our first big chill of the season, about 35 degrees this morning. Had to get up during the night and turn the heat on. Made a Breakfast Burrito this morning for Breakfast. Made of 1 Scrambled Egg, two diced Jennie - O Turkey Sausage links, a dab of Daisy Reduced Fat Sour Cream, Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, and a Low Carb Whole Grain Tortilla. Then it was an afternoon of NFL Football! For dinner tonight it’s a Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.
I had the Orange Roughy in the freezer so I let it thaw in the fridge overnight. To prepare the Orange Roughy Fillet; start by rinsing the fillet off in cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Then season it with Sea Salt and Pepper. Combine flour and Hungarian Sweet Paprika mix well, then press both sides of fillet into flour for a light dusting , shaking off any excess flour. Dip floured fillet into Egg Beater’s, allowing excess to drip off. Then roll the fillets in the Shake and Bake Seasoned Panko. Meanwhile, heat a tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in skillet and place the fillets in the oil and fry 4 minutes each side. It comes out a beautiful golden brown on the outside and a moist flavorful fillet on the inside! This breading will work well with most all Fish. I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun.
To go with my Fish Sandwich I baked up some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Love Potatoes and love these fries! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.

Grilled Applewood Smoked Bratwurst w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Grilled Applewood Smoked Bratwurst w/ Baked Fries
Our streak of beautiful weather continues around here. Some say it's an early Indian Summer. Unless my Dad can get stronger I'm afraid we' have to put him in an assisted living center. I hope not but we may not have a choice. i do all I can but I'm in a wheel chair and Mom is 86 so it's getting harder and harder for her to do it. Hopefully things will work out. We're having some water drainage problems next to drive-way so I guess that's my next project. For dinner tonight, trying them for the first time, Buffalo Applewood Smoked Bratwurst. I prepared Grilled Applewood Smoked Bratwurst w/ Baked Fries.
I hadn't ordered anything from Wild Idea Buffalo in a while and my Buffalo stock was very low. So I placed an order last Thursday and it arrived late yesterday afternoon. I ordered some Buffalo Steaks, Ground Buffalo, and their new Grilled Applewood Smoked Bratwurst. They're nice size plump Brats. They slow smoke these new bratwursts with rich applewood chips for a deep smoked taste that really brings out the sweetness of our grass-fed buffalo meat, and it really does! They're made with Grass-Fed Buffalo, Water, Sea Salt, Organic Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Pure Cane Sugar, Onion Powder, Coriander, Celery Seed, and Marjoram. Then encased in an organic pork casing. To prepare them I first boiled them in water for about 4 minutes and then finished them off on the grill. I Grilled them about 5 minutes, turning often. These bad boys were just bursting with flavor! Another delicious Buffalo Product from Wild Idea Buffalo. Served them on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun topped with French's Spicy Brown Mustard.
Then I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding topped with a dab of Cool Whip Free.

Seasoned Tilapia Sandwich w/ Baked Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries
Dinner Tonight: Seasoned Tilapia Sandwich w/ Baked Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries
I went out and got the morning paper and it was our coolest morning in quite a while, 41 degrees. It turned out to be a beautiful First Day of Fall, sunny and about 68 degrees. Went to the store and stopped by the bank and back home. Got the cart out and did a little yard work and went down to the neighborhood lake and enjoyed the day. For dinner tonight I prepared a Seasoned Tilapia Sandwich w/ Baked Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries
When I went to Kroger they had Walleye and Tilapia on sale so I grabbed a couple of fillets of each. So for dinner I used one of the Tilapia fillets for dinner tonight. I rinsed the fillet off in cold water and patted dry with a paper towel. I then seasoned them a bit of Sea Salt and then rolled it in Zatarain’s Crispy Southern Fish Fri Breading Mix. Pan fried them in Canola Oil about 3 minutes per side. Served it on a Meijer Bakery Perfection Deli Mini Wheat Sub Bun.
For a side for my Fish Sandwich I baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Served these with a side of Hunt's Ketchup. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.

Extra Sharp Cheddar and Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Extra Sharp Cheddar and Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries
Had some overnight and early morning showers but a sunny afternoon. A bit warmer and more humid out, ready for the Fall weather to return. Laundry and house cleaning and then NFL Football for the rest of the day! For dinner tonight it’s an Extra Sharp Cheddar and Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.
I then pan fried it about 3 1/2 minutes per side, and done! I topped it with a fresh slice of Borden Extra Sharp Cheddar and Sauteed Mushrooms, served it on an Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun. Hard to beat these Wild Idea Buffalo Burgers, juicy and delicious!
Then for a side I baked up some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Yogurt.

Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage W/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage (On Bun) W/ Baked Fries
Another one of those long and frustrating days around here. Spent most of the day on the phone with doctors and Hoveround. After 5 years they replace my Hoveround Mobility Chair with a new one, Medicare law. With my old doctor that approved everything retired I have to go through the new doctor and it hasn't been easy! It's been one foul up after another. I finally got everything worked out about 3:00 this afternoon, I'll shut-up about it now. Had to vent a bit. Anyway for dinner I prepared a Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage (On Bun) W/ Baked Fries.
I used Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I took one of the Sausages and cut it in half. Using a medium size skillet, I sprayed it with Pam cooking Spray, added a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and heated it on medium. When the skillet was heated up I added the Turkey Sausage. I cooked it until the skin casing started to brown and then flipped it over and continued cooking for another 4 minutes. When browned and heated through I topped it with French's Spicy Brown Mustard and served it on an Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun. Love these Sausages, plump and full of flavor! I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Mousse.

“Not So Sloppy” Buffalo Joe w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: “Not so Sloppy” Buffalo Joe w/ Baked Fries
Another one of those long days around here today. i made me and Mom Breakfast and then I had to go the store for a few items and back home, here is where it starts to wrong! Mom had left to go to Church and then to see Dad at rehab center. So I unloaded the groceries and put them away and went in the spare room and did my daily exercises. Went back to my Hoveround and the tire was flat! So I got my walker and was going for the phone to call my neighbor to give me a hand to change the tire, and I tripped and fell. Banged my head pretty good on the wall and slightly twisted my knee. Finally managed to call my neighbor and he came over to change the tire, luckily I had a couple of older tires that were still usable. The knee aches a bit but everything back to normal. For dinner tonight I prepared “Not So Sloppy” Buffalo Joe w/ Baked Fries.
It’s been a while since it's been Sloppy Joe Night, too long! It’s a delicious and a super easy meal to prepare. To make the Sloppy Joe I used Wild Idea Buffalo - Premium Ground Buffalo (my favorite meat), 1 jar of Hormel Not So Sloppy Joe Sauce, and Healthy Life Whole Grain Buns.Using a large skillet to brown the Bison in, I seasoned it with Morton’s Salt Substitute, Ground Black Pepper, and Roasted Ground Cumin.

Cubed Steak Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Cubed Steak Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Another day of high humidity with a lot of rain today. Had a bout with the Phantom Pains overnight and didn't get a whole lot of sleep, finally let up early this morning. Caught up on some sleep during the afternoon. Those pains really take it out of me, sure wish they would come up with a cure or a way to stop them. Mom is having dinner with Dad tonight at the rehab unit tonight. So for my dinner tonight its a Cubed Steak (Topped with Mushroom Brown Gravy) Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.
I very rarely use Beef but when I do I use my absolute favorite, Cubed Steak from Meijer. The best Cubed Steak I have ever found or had. They’re good size patties so I was able to cut them in half and get 2 meals out of 1 pattie. To prepare them I seasoned them with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper and I then rolled them in flour that I had mixed with a bit of Hungarian Paprika. Shook off the excess flour and pan fried them in Canola Oil, about 4 minutes per side. They came out delicious! Excellent flavor and very tender, especially for Cubed Steak which sometimes can be somewhat tough and stringy. Served it on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Bun and topped it with some Heinz Mushroom Brown Gravy, what a Sandwich! I also baked a serving of the Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Then for dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.
Cube Steak
Cube steak is a cut of beef, usually top round or top sirloin, tenderized by fierce pounding with a meat tenderizer, or use of an electric tenderizer. The name refers to the shape of the indentations left by that process (called “cubing”). Many professional cooks[who?] insist that regular tenderizing mallets cause too much mashing to produce a proper cube steak, and insist on either using specialized cube steak machines, or manually applying a set of sharp-pointed rods to pierce the meat in every direction. This is the most common cut of meat used for chicken fried steak.
In Canada as well as in some parts of the United States, cube steak may be called a minute steak, because it can be cooked quickly.
Others distinguish minute steak as:
* simply referring to the cut, which is not necessarily tenderized;
* thinner than cube steak (hence does not need tenderizing);
* cut from sirloin or round, while cube steak cut is from chuck or round.
The term “minute steak” is also used in the United Kingdom, where the term “cube steak” is little known.

Crab Cake Slider w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Crab Cake Slider w/ Baked Fries
We're getting a one day break from the humid weather, the humidity returns tomorrow they say though. Ran some errands for Mom and caught up on some things around the house. Dad is doing a lot better it seems, making a slow but sure progress. Fired up the grill for lunch, grilled a Bluegrass Lean Brat. Then for dinner tonight I had a Crab Cake Slider w/ Baked Fries.
I’m using Kroger Private Selection Maryland Style Crab Cakes. They come frozen and there’s 2 to a box. To prepare them just preheat the oven on 400 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Nothing beats a fresh made Crab Cake, but these are too good to be frozen! They’re just the right size, about 3.5 ounces each, and full of flavor. Baked them for about 30 minutes and they were done. Served then on a Pepperidge Farm Wheat Slider Buns. Topped them with Louisiana Remoulade Dressing and Arugula. This makes one delicious Slider! The taste of the Crab Meat and Remoulade Sauce, then the Peppery taste of the Arugula is perfect together! If you want one flavorful Remoulade Sauce you have to try the LOUISIANA Remoulade Dressing. This sauce is incredible and is good on about anything you put it on!
Then I also prepared one of my favorite sides, Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Love these Fries, they’re 130 calories and 20 carbs per serving. And a serving is 13 Fries, which is plenty. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.
LOUISIANA Remoulade Dressing
LOUISIANA Remoulade Dressing is typically a cold dressing served with chilled boiled seafood. This dressing combines the perfect blend of soybean oil, horseradish, egg yolks, tomato paste, onion, garlic and other spices. Use it as a dipping sauce for your favorite seafood or meats.

Montgomery Inn Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Montgomery Inn Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Well my day could have started off better than it did. I went out and fetched the morning paper about 7:00 this morning and on the way back in I noticed that something was leaking from under my car's front end. I could tell it was from my radiator, so I took it to a local mechanic that we use and dropped it off. They called back a little later and it was from the radiator, had a small hole in it and also a hose had a hole in it. So much for trying to save money! Could be worse though. Anyway I prepared Montgomery Inn Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich w/ Baked Fries for dinner tonight.
I used the Montgomery Inn Hardwood Smoked Pulled Pork w/ Barbecue Sauce. Montgomery Inn is one of the original Barbecue and Ribs Restaurant in the Cincinnati area. It has some of the finest food, love them Ribs, anywhere! They also sell their Ribs and Pulled Pork and Chicken at all Kroger. So when it’s Pulled Pork I almost always use the Montgomery Inn brand. Anyway you just heat it in a medium sauce pan until it’s warmed and you have BBQ. It’s the perfect combination of the Pork and the mouth watering Montgomery Inn Sauce that makes this so delicious! Plus it’s only 110 calories and 8 carbs per serving. I served it on an Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun. I also baked up some of our favorite fries, Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries Served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup and also had an Ice-Cold Dr. Pepper that I let set in the freezer for about 10 minutes. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Free.

I topped it with a fresh slice of Borden Extra Sharp Cheddar and Sauteed Mushrooms, served it on an Aunt Millie's Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun. Hard to beat these Wild Idea Buffalo Burgers, just sooo delicious!

Cheddar and Mushroom Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Cheddar and Mushroom Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries
It's been a very humid and hot day out today! For Breakfast I prepared a Fried Turkey Spam, Cheddar, and Scrambled Egg English Muffin. Love that Turkey Spam! Spent the Morning at the Hospital with Dad, who is doing and looking a lot better today! In fact they are moving him from the hospital to a rehab center. He's an amazing 92 year old man. For dinner I prepared a Grilled Cheddar, Mushroom, and Sweet and Hot Mustard Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.
I’m using the Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties. Their already pre-made Patties so all I did was season them with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper and fry! I was going to grill them but it is just too humid out there for me so I pan fried them. I fried them in Canola Oil about 8 1/2 minutes per side. I served the Burgers on Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Buns and topped the Pattie with some Sweet Hot Stone Ground Mustard, some sautéed sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms, and a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese. I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries for a side dish. For dessert later Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.
Jennie – O Lean Turkey Burger Patties
An all-natural burger choice.

Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Started the day off with one of my favorites, Glier's Turkey Goetta! I had the Turkey Goetta along with a couple of buttered slices of Healthy Life Whole Grain Bread and a cup of fresh brewed Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. It was cloudy and a lot more humid outside today. Had a brief shower in the afternoon, a very light one. Not much going on today, did a load of laundry and cleaned the house. For dinner tonight it's a Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.
To prepare the Orange Roughy Fillets rinse fillets and pat dry fillets and season with Sea Salt and Pepper. Combine flour and Hungarian Sweet Paprika mix well, then press both sides of fillet into flour for a light dusting , shaking off any excess flour. Dip floured fillets into Egg Beater’s, allowing excess to drip off.
To go with my Fish Sandwich I baked up some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Love Potatoes and love these fries! For dessert later a bowl of fresh sliced Georgia Peaches.

Cold Cut Trio Baked Mini Sub w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Cold Cut Trio Baked Mini Sub w/ Baked Fries
I Made another thing I haven't had for Breakfast in quite a while, Waffles. I used the leftover batter from the Pancakes from yesterday, got my Waffle Griddle out and made Waffles. Then along with the Waffle I had some Jimmy Dean Applewood Smoked Chicken Sausage. If you've never given these a try you need to, delicious! For dinner tonight, a Cold Cut Baked Mini Sub w/ Baked Fries
I used Kroger Private Selection Smoked Off the Bone Sliced Ham, Boar’s Head Honey Smoked Turkey Breast, and Kahn's Deluxe Bologna for my Baked Mini Sub. I had picked the Turkey up while at Jungle Jim’s Market yesterday. Then I used a Meijer Wheat Mini Sub Bun. Layered the Meats on the Bun and topped it with some Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil and Sweet Hot Stone Ground Mustard and a thin slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Swiss Cheese. I brushed some Extra Virgin Olive Oil on the top bun, which makes it brown up better. I baked it in a shallow baking pan at 400 degrees until the Cheese started to melt and the Meats were heated. I love using these Meijer Wheat Mini Sub Buns, their just the right size and they toast up fantastic! I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.
Boar’s Head HONEY SMOKED TURKEY BREAST
An all white turkey breast, lightly smoked and dipped in golden honey for a smoky, sweet flavor that is sure to be a favorite. Wonderful on Sourdough bread with lettuce, tomato, and our Vermont Cheddar Cheese for a lunchtime treat.

Pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Dinner Tonight: Pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast Sandwich w/ Baked Fries
Had a bowl of Cheerios for Breakfast this morning. That's the first bowl of Cereal I've had in forever, I can't even remember the last time starting the day with one! Had to have my Hoveround worked on today, just general maintenance; tires and batteries and such. Then ventured to Kroger, which is a real adventure anymore due to their remodeling. I really don't consider it remolding when all they're doing is moving items over an aisle or two and making a mess out of it. But as one Kroger employee told me, when they do stuff like this it's job security. As soon as they see that things are more confusing than before they'll move everything back, job security. Anyway for dinner tonight I prepared a Pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.
As usual when using Buffalo I'm using Wild Idea Buffalo. I used the Wild Idea Buffalo Pulled Buffalo Chuck Roast. This is so tender and incredibly flavorful. It comes already cooked and seasoned. It's seasoned with, Organic Apple Cider, Organic Lime Juice, Onion Powder, Cumin, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Chili Powder, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Oregano, Cayenne Pepper. And that's why it's so flavorful! Delicious Buffalo Meat that you just heat and serve. I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Hamburger Bun and topped it with just a bit JB's Fat Boy Chipotle BBQ Sauce. What a sandwich! For a side I baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.
Wild idea Buffalo - 1 lb.
