Dinner Tonight: Sharp Cheddar and Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Steak Fries
Started my morning off with a Sunnyside Up Egg, 2 Jennie - O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links,
Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin, and hot cup Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Now that's a good start to the day! It was a beautiful sunny morning but the clouds and rain started rolling in about 10:00. I've had one rough one night, had to deal with phantom Pains! And they were very painful throughout the night, so I didn't get a lot of sleep. They continued throughout the day, hopefully it will end soon! Did some laundry and tried to catch up on some sleep. For dinner tonight I kept it simple, I prepared a Sharp Cheddar and Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Steak Fries.
Used my favorite Buffalo, the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Buffalo Burger. I had it in the freezer so I laid it in the fridge overnight to thaw. ! Preheated up a small skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray, seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it, in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, about 3 1/2 minutes per side, and done! I topped it with a slice of Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Sauteed Mushrooms, served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Hamburger Bun. Just love these Buffalo Burgers; meaty, juicy and just flat out delicious For a side I baked some Ore Ida Steak Fries, with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for the Fries. For dessert later a bowl of Ben and Jerry's Half - Baked Fro Yo!, Don't have Ben and Jerry's a lot but I broke down and bought a pint when I was at Meijer.
