It's easy to keep your wet, soaped steel wool pads from rusting: Just wrap them in aluminum foil and store in your freezer. But before you do, cut them in half. It's economical, because they won't wear out as fast, and the frozen half will stay rust-free. And as a bonus, it's a great way to sharpen your scissors.
