There's no need to buy expensive dish washing liquid. Buy the cheapest brand you can find, then add a few tablespoons of white vinegar to the water while you're washing, and your dishes will shine. The same is true for dishwashers - just buy the least expensive detergent and add some white vinegar to the machine. Vinegar will remove spots from glass in a flash.
