The Kitchen is closed tonight, Subway for dinner!

Dinner Tonight: Subway 6″ Sub and Chips

For Breakfast this morning I prepared Skillet Diced Potatoes and Ham for Breakfast. I used 1
package of Simply Potatoes Steakhouse Seasoned Diced Potatoes and a package of Meijer Diced Ham to prepare it. Just cook the Potatoes according to the package instructions and with about 5
minutes of cooking time left add the Diced Ham. Topped it off with a Sunnyside Up Egg and also made that morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast i went to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom and Dad. In the 20's this morning and a cold wind blowing! We only had a high of 36 degrees. So not a lot going on outside. Cleaned the fridge out, then the stove and oven, then on to the pantry. Took the brushes out of the vacuum and cleaned them. Well I got everything done so I watched some TV and read a couple of Food Magazines. Tonight I’m having a Subway 6″ Sub on 9 Grain Bun w/ Turkey and Black Forest Ham.

Didn’t feel like cooking tonight and I hadn’t had Subway in a while so it just sounded good for
dinner! I had a 6″ Black Forest Ham and Turkey Sub on a 9 grain Wheat Bun w/ Black Olives, Lettuce. The total calories for the sub is 270 calories and 41 net carbs. I added Hellman’s Light Mayo and French’s Yellow mustard to the Sandwich when I got home. I also had a side of Ruffle’s Reduced Fat Potato Chips and a bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper. For dessert later a bowl of Skinny Pop - Pop Corn with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Subway – Turkey Breast & Black Forest Ham
A sandwich so deliciously hearty, you won’t know you’re eating low fat. Enjoy the flavor of tender sliced turkey breast and Black Forest ham with your favorite veggies from juicy tomatoes to sweet red onions served on your favorite freshly baked bread.

The Kitchen is Closed! It's Domino’s Tonight!

Dinner Tonight: Domino’s Pizza

It was clear and cold morning out, around 9 degrees. For Breakfast I had a Egg Beater's Scrambled
Egg Whites, Simply Potatoes Hash Browns, 1 slice of toasted Healthy Life Whole Grain Bread, and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Outside it was a beautiful Sunny Day out, but cold with a slight breeze. Mom and Dad went on to Church so it gave me a chance to do some house cleaning and I did a load of laundry for Mom. I had planned a dinner for today but as the day went on and I got lazy. I was a victim of the easy chair and remote. So I decided to shut that kitchen down! So tonight it's Domino's!

Mom and Dad had been wanting a Pizza for sometime now so I ordered a Pizza from Domino’s
Pizza. A few more calories and carbs than what I normally like to have for dinner but it had been quite a while since I had one and it sounded good for a Sunday Meal, and love the clean up afterwards! We ordered a Domino’s Hand Tossed Pizza Large with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Black Olives, and Green Olives. As always the Pizza arrived on time, hot and delicious! Pizza and Football on a Sunday! For dessert later a Jello Sugarless Dark Chocolate Mousse. The kitchen will reopen tomorrow!

The Kitchen is Closed! Hello Domino's!

Dinner Tonight: Domino's Pizza

Had a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin topped with Smucker's Sugar Free Black Raspberry
Jam. Then had to run to Kroger for a few items and stopped by McDonald's and picked Mom up a Breakfast sandwich and Coffee for her Breakfast. Back home did my morning workout and a shower. Around noon went over to rehab to see dad. He's slowly getting stronger, breathing easier, and he's speech has really improved. He'll be there a while yet. Back home grabbed the remote and the easy chair for an afternoon of Football! No cooking tonight, the Kitchen is closed! Dinner tonight provided by Domino's.

Tonight it’s Izzy’s!

Dinner Tonight: Izzy’s Lean Corned Beef Sandwich w/ Pringle’s Fat-Free Chips

I wanted to start off by wishing my Dad a Happy Birthday, he's 94 today! Wow, quite an
Rosemary, Sage, Thyme
achievement! Started my day off with a bowl of Kroger Brand Bran Flakes, this has become one of my favorite cereals. Not a whole lot going on outside today again, humidity is terrible out. So inside I replanted some Herb Plants into a pot display I purchased. Plants are doing good this year. Did a few chores in the house and ran some computer programs, that was about it today. Mom and Dad went out to eat with some friends so I was cooking for 1 tonight. I opted to eat out myself tonight, Izzy's. Tonight it's Izzy’s Lean Corned Beef Sandwich w/ Pringle’s Fat-Free Chips

Izzy’s is home of some the best Corned Beef there is! All their Sandwiches are delicious and they
own the market on the Corned Beef. I always get their Izzy’s Lean Corned Beef Sandwich. The “Lean” version of the Corned Beef it makes it healthier than most also. The sandwich contains 170 calories and 16 carbs per serving (1/2 Sandwich) and 340 calories and 32 carbs for a Full Sandwich. I had the Full Sandwich along with a side of small Pasta Salad and Pringle’s Fat Free Chips. To go along with it all I had an Ice-Cold Diet Dr. Pepper, 0 calories and 0 carbs. Love putting a small bottle of Dr. Pepper in the freezer for a bit, just enough to get a layer of ice forming on it! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.

OUTBACK SPECIAL® SIRLOIN PORTABELLA w/ Baked Potato and Salad

Dinner Tonight: OUTBACK SPECIAL® SIRLOIN PORTABELLA w/ Baked Potato and Salad

One very long night as i had Phantom Pains through out the night! They started last night around 9:00 and continued until around Noon today. Plus it was the intense and painful ones. Needless to say very tired today. It's been one cold and rainy here. It finally let up in the late afternoon but still cold and windy. Ran a couple of errands for Mom and back home for the day. Good day for the sofa and the remote! Went out to eat tonight, Outback Steakhouse.

I was just too worn out after last night dealing with the Phantom Pains so for dinner I did two things I rarely do; One I went out to eat and Two I had Beef! First time for Beef in a while. I had outback Steakhouse tonight, the Curb Side Service. Being in a wheelchair you really appreciate Curb Side Service. I ordered the OUTBACK SPECIAL® SIRLOIN PORTABELLA w/ Baked Potato and Salad. The Steak was 6 oz. and topped with seasoned bistro butter, wood-fire grilled portabella mushrooms and shaved Parmesan. Then for sides I had a Baked Potato and Side Salad. The Steak was very tender and juicy, cooked to perfection! Everything was okay but I prefer Buffalo over Beef. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.
