Dinner Tonight: 8 oz. Center Cut Sirloin and Homestyle Mashed Potatoes


For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie's Light
Whole Grain Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Beautiful Spring Day out there today, 60 degrees and sunny! After Breakfast did a load of laundry and then some light cleaning of the house. Later on I got the cart out of shed and cleaned it up a bit and then took a spin around the neighborhood. Good to be outside! Mom had been wanting a Steak Dinner from OutBack Steakhouse so the Kitchen is Closed Tonight!




We both had a 8 oz. Center Cut Sirloin Steak. I had Homestyle Mashed Potatoes and Salad. Mom had a Baked Potato, Roll, and Salad. The Steaks were cooked perfect and so moist and flavorful! Best Steak we've had in a while from OutBack. Last couple of times the Steaks were not worth the money, but good job with these! For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop - Pop Corn and a Diet Mango Snapple to drink. Kitchen reopens tomorrow, take care!

I had to fast this morning. I had to be at the doctor's office for my 4 month check up for Cholesterol, sugar and all the vitals. 30 degrees and flurries outside this morning. 35 degrees and cloudy for the day. I normally don't eat out but I told Mom I would take her out to eat for Dinner the day I go for my check up. So tonight I took her to Outback Steakhouse. We both the had the Sirloin Steak Dinner. Kitchen back open tomorrow. Enjoy all, later!

One very long night as i had Phantom Pains through out the night! They started last night around 9:00 and continued until around Noon today. Plus it was the intense and painful ones. Needless to say very tired today. It's been one cold and rainy here. It finally let up in the late afternoon but still cold and windy. Ran a couple of errands for Mom and back home for the day. Good day for the sofa and the remote! Went out to eat tonight, Outback Steakhouse.

I was just too worn out after last night dealing with the Phantom Pains so for dinner I did two things I rarely do; One I went out to eat and Two I had Beef! First time for Beef in a while. I had outback Steakhouse tonight, the Curb Side Service. Being in a wheelchair you really appreciate Curb Side Service. I ordered the OUTBACK SPECIAL® SIRLOIN PORTABELLA w/ Baked Potato and Salad. The Steak was 6 oz. and topped with seasoned bistro butter, wood-fire grilled portabella mushrooms and shaved Parmesan. Then for sides I had a Baked Potato and Side Salad. The Steak was very tender and juicy, cooked to perfection! Everything was okay but I prefer Buffalo over Beef. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.

What's up everyone! Things are getting back to normal around here finally. Brought my Mom home from the Hospital and Dad's over the flu and I'm back on-line again! Mom was lucky she could have easily broke a leg or hip when she slipped on the ice here at home. I heard about 4 people slipped on ice here in the neighborhood, one has a broken leg and one a fractured hip. She was at Mercy South Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio. Many, many thanks to Mercy, nothing but first class treatment and help! For dinner tonight the kitchen is closed and it was Outback Steakhouse to the rescue!







A Steak,Baked Potato, and House Salad sounded just right! I picked it up by the Outback's Curb Service. What a help and plus this service is, especially for those that disabled or handicapped. I ordered the Outback Victoria's Fillet 6 oz w/ Baked Potato and Side Salad. Ordered the Potatoes plain so I could use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and no dressing and used Kraft Fat Free French Dressing. Had a Diet Half and Half Snapple to drink and I was set! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Vanilla Bean Frozen Yogurt.
