I was going to prepare Dinner tonight Mom wanted Pizza so…….

........Pizza it is! I ordered Mom’s favorite, Domino’s Hand Tossed Pizza Large with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, and Black Olives, Green Olives. First Pizza in a while, and it was over due! As always the Pizza arrived on time, hot and delicious! I had a Diet Coke to drink. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Caffeine Free Diet Mango Tea Snapple to drink. The Kitchen reopens tomorrow! Take care all.

Kitchen Closed, Domino Pizza!

Hello all! My Mom is still not feeling well. I'm taking her to her Family Doctor tomorrow, and
believe me it's not been easy! She does not like going to the Doctor and I finally talked her into going. She actually feels worse today than yesterday.

I had to go pick up a prescription that her Doctor called in for her. I was going to prepare Dinner tonight but she insisted she wanted a Pizza. So as usual I gave in and ordered a Pizza from Domino. Hopefully I'll be able to transfer pictures I take on to the computer and then to my posts again! I had a friend of mine that works for a Computer Repair store come over and help me get it up running again. Still not sure on this Windows 10 thing, but not much choice now. Anyway I ordered a Domino Hand Tossed Medium Pizza with Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom, Black Olives, and Green Olives. Kitchen will reopen tomorrow!

Dinner Tonight: Kitchen Closed - It’s Pizza Tonight from Domino’s

Early Morning and long day today. The phone rang about 5:00 this morning and it was the rehab

Dad panics if we are not around when something isn't right. Later in the day they took more x-rays and the pneumonia had cleared up! Later in the day he was breathing good, thankfully! So it was a very long day and it ended good. Back at home I caught up on some sleep. Too tired to cook so the Kitchen is Closed! Tonight it's Domino's.

We ordered a Domino’s Hand Tossed Pizza Large with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, and Black Olives, Green Olives. As always the Pizza arrived on time, hot and delicious! For Breakfast this morning I fried a couple of Jennie - O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, Scrambled
an Egg, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie's Light Whole Grain Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After I had Breakfast and did the dishes I went to McDonald's to pick up Breakfast for Mom and Dad. It's not quite as hot out, 82 degrees but still a tad muggy. After Lunch I got the cart out of the shed and I to dig up an old bush that was dead and then I had to dig out some soil running along side the driveway. Still having drainage problems when it rains. Things would be a lot easier if I wasn't in a wheel chair but you have to work with what you got! For Dinner tonight It's Pizza from Domino's.

I had something planned out for my Dinner tonight but Mom and Dad had been wanting a Pizza for

The Kitchen is Closed! It’s Domino’s Tonight!

Dinner Tonight: Domino’s Pizza

It was a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea and a toasted Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin for Breakfast this morning. After Breakfast I had to move all items under the Kitchen and 2 bathroom
sinks. Then cleared off the kitchen counters. The Pest Control came this afternoon and started our treatment of Carpenter Ants. Several neighbors also were being treated today. We've had a slight problem with them since Duke Energy plowed down the woods behind us. So after the sprayed I had to move everything back, fun day! Glad to get it done though. Got the leaf blower out and cleaned the deck and driveway of leaves and such. So I couldn't put everything back in the kitchen cabinets for about 3 hours, till the spray dried. And by then I sure didn't feel like cooking. So the kitchen is closed and its a pizza from Domino's.

Had a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin topped with Smucker's Sugar Free Black Raspberry
Jam. Then had to run to Kroger for a few items and stopped by McDonald's and picked Mom up a Breakfast sandwich and Coffee for her Breakfast. Back home did my morning workout and a shower. Dinner Tonight: Domino's Pizza

Brrr! It's cold outside, about 19 degrees with a wind chill around 10 degrees. But I can deal with cold as long as we don't get a lot of snow and ice. Had a light Breakfast and worked out to start the day. Then spent most of the day cleaning the computer. Pulled everything out, cleaned and dusted. Then ran some scans and security and deleted some old programs that were taking up space. I got lazy, had a new recipe to try and had the ingredients ready and I got lazy! Tonight the Kitchen is Closed and Hello Domino's!

Well I ordered Domino’s Pizza tonight! A Large Pizza with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Green Olives, on a Hand Tossed Pizza, I got lazy! Then for Dad he wanted a Steak Hoagie, so I ordered him a Mushroom Delight Steak Hoagie. Both came on time and piping hot and delicious! Sure is nice not to have to cook every night. But I’ll be cooking tomorrow to start the New Year off right! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Frozen Greek Yogurt. I've got my cell phone charged, the remote ready, and an evening in my recliner, quiet New Year's Eve Here! I wish you all a healthy and prosperous 2015, Happy New Year Everyone!

Domino's Pizza

Today's Menu: Domino's Pizza

I know Pizza, with all these leftovers. Pizza is about the only thing that sounded good. As Thanksgiving wore on the worse Mom, Dad, and Myself started to feel. This will teach me not to brag about not getting sick! Dad didn't even have any of the Thanksgiving Dinner. About nightfall Mom and Dad were both getting worse. Then about 9:30 last night my Dad fell and he was so weak we couldn't get him up so we to call an ambulance which took him on to the hospital. Me or Mom couldn't even go with him because we were both feeling so bad, that and the local hospitals are telling people no visitation if you're showing signs of the flu. So dad will be there 2 or 3 days before coming home. No injury from the fall but real weak from the flu. Mom is a little better and about the same. Which leads to tonight's dinner Pizza.

Leftovers did not sound good in way. I wasn't real hungry and Mom suggested a Pizza. So I ordered a Medium  Hand Tossed Pizza Pizza with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Green Olives. I still have no appetite and only had one slice, Mom ate well for the first time in a couple of days. No dessert tonight, back to bed for me.

Kitchen Closed Again! Domino's Pizza and Steak Hoagie Tonight

Dinner Tonight: Kitchen Closed Again! Domino's Pizza and Steak Hoagie Tonight

Long morning, beautiful day! Had to be at the hospital for my yearly scans. No food or water from Midnight till after the scans The worst part is having to get to the hospital an hour early to drink this medication you have to drink before the scans, nothing like sitting around a hospital waiting room! I get two series of scans; one without the contrast dye and one with the contrast dye. So now it's just waiting for the results, hope it's all clear of cancer still. Well for dinner tonight, after the long morning I didn't feel like cooking so "I shut that kitchen down!" Tonight it's Domino's Pizza and Steak Hoagie Tonight.

Well I ordered Domino's Pizza tonight! A Large Pizza with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Green Olives, on a Hand Tossed Pizza. It’s nice not to have to prepare dinner every now and then. Then for Dad he wanted a Steak Hoagie, so I ordered him a Mushroom Delight Steak Hoagie. Both came piping hot and delicious! Sure is nice not to have to cook every night. But I'll be cooking tomorrow! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Vanilla Bean Frozen Greek Yogurt.

Kitchen Closed, Hello Domino’s!

Dinner Tonight: Domino's Pizza

It's been one cold and rainy day around here all day. Avoided any snow flurries, at least so far. But the rains are good for the farmers and their upcoming growing season. Spent part of the day trying to correct some posting issues here on -line and then the other half at rehab with Dad. Still not posting like it should but I'm able to get posts out now. Long day so the Kitchen has been shutdown and it' Hello Domino's!

Pizzas has a bit more carbs and calories than I usually have but one every now and then when it's been a long day doesn't hurt too bad. As usual when we order a Pizza, we order Domino's Pizza. Tonight I ordered a Hand – Tossed medium Pizza with Cheese, Black Olives, Mushrooms, Sausage, and Pepperoni. Mom and myself took care of half of it and gave the other half to one of our neighbors. First time I've had one of these Pizzas in a while and have to be honest it was incredible! Served hot with all of our favorite toppings. Great job by Domino's! For dessert later a Jello Sugarless Double Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Free.

All About Domino’s!

Tom Monaghan and his brother, James, purchased DomiNick’s, a small pizza store in Ypsilanti, Michigan, near Eastern Michigan University. The deal was secured by a $75 down payment and the brothers borrowed $500 to pay for the store. Eight months later, James traded his half of the business to Tom for a used Volkswagen Beetle. In 1965, Monaghan renamed the business Domino’s Pizza, Inc. In 1967, the first Domino’s Pizza franchise store opened in Ypsilanti. The company logo was originally planned to add a new dot with the addition of every new store, but this idea quickly faded as Domino’s experienced rapid growth. The three dots represent the stores that were open in 1969. Reflecting Domino’s growth, the company had expanded to 200 stores by 1978. In 1975, Domino’s faced a lawsuit by Amstar Corporation, the maker of Domino Sugar, alleging trademark infringement and unfair competition. On May 2, 1980, a federal appeals court found in favor of Domino’s Pizza.

The current Domino’s menu features a variety of Italian-American entrees and side dishes. Pizza is the primary focus, with traditional, specialty, and custom pizzas available in a variety of crust styles and toppings. In 2011, Domino’s launched artisan-style pizzas. Additional entrees include pasta, bread bowls, and oven-baked sandwiches. The menu offers chicken side dishes, breadsticks, as well as beverages and desserts.

From its founding until the early 1990s, the menu at Domino’s Pizza was kept simple relative to other fast food restaurants, to ensure efficiency of delivery. Historically, Domino’s menu consisted solely of one pizza in two sizes (12-inch and 16-inch), 11 toppings, and Coca-Cola as the only soft drink option.

The first menu expansion occurred in 1989, with the debut of Domino’s deep dish or pan pizza. Its introduction followed market research showing that 40% of pizza customers preferred thick crusts. The new product launch cost approximately $25 million, of which $15 million was spent on new sheet metal pans with perforated bottoms. Domino’s started testing extra-large size pizzas in early 1993, starting with the 30-slice, yard-long “The Dominator”.
Domino’s tapped into a market trend toward bite-size foods with spicy Buffalo Chicken Kickers, as an alternative to Buffalo Wings, in August 2002. The breaded, baked, white-meat fillets, similar to chicken fingers, are packaged in a custom-designed box with two types of sauce to “heat up” and “cool down” the chicken.

In August 2003, Domino’s announced its first new pizza since January 2000, the Philly Cheese Steak Pizza. The product launch also marked the beginning of a partnership with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, whose beef Check-Off logo appeared in related advertising. Domino’s continued its move toward specialty pizzas in 2006, with the introduction of its Brooklyn Style Pizza, featuring a thinner crust, cornmeal baked in to add crispness, and larger slices that could be folded in the style of traditional New York-style pizza.

In 2008, Domino’s once again branched out into non-pizza fare, offering oven-baked sandwiches in four styles, intended to compete with Subway’s toasted submarine sandwiches. Early marketing for the sandwiches made varied references to its competition, such as offering free sandwiches to customers named “Jared,” a reference to Subway’s spokesman of the same name.
The company introduced its American Legends line of specialty pizzas in 2009, featuring 40% more cheese than the company’s regular pizzas, along with a greater variety of toppings. That same year, Domino’s began selling its BreadBowl Pasta entree, a lightly seasoned bread bowl baked with pasta inside, and the Lava Crunch Cake dessert, composed of a crunchy chocolate shell filled with warm fudge. Domino’s promoted the dessert by flying in 1,000 cakes to deliver at Hoffstadt Bluffs Visitor Center near Mount St Helens in Washington State.

In 2010, shortly after the company’s 50th anniversary, Domino’s changed its pizza recipe “from the crust up”, making significant changes in the dough, sauce, and cheese used in their pizzas. Their advertising campaign admitted to earlier problems with the public perception of Domino’s product due to taste issues.
After a stock low point in late 2009, the company’s stock had grown 233 percent by late 2011. Even as the American economy has suffered and unemployment has risen, Domino’s has seen its sales rise dramatically through its efforts to rebrand and retool its pizza.

Domino’s serves Coca-Cola products and is the only “Big Four” pizza chain to do so. Rivals Papa John’s Pizza and Little Caesars sold Coca-Cola in the past (Pizza Hut, due to its previous ownership by PepsiCo, has a lifetime contract to sell Pepsi products), but both switched to Pepsi in 2012 and 2007, respectively. Domino’s Pizza in Mexico switched to Pepsi in November 2012.
In September 2012, Domino’s announced it was going to roll out a pan pizza on September 24, 2012. Following this move, the Deep Dish pizza was discontinued after 23 years of being on the menu.

Domino's Football, and Dinner

Dinner Tonight: Domino's Pizza

Dreary and rainy day out all day. Not as much snow as they first thought but the Artic Blast is on its way. I'd rather have the snow and a bit warmer temps than the bitter cold. I had some Fish laid out for dinner but I got lazy while watching the football game and went with the last minute standby, Domino's Pizza!

So I ordered a Medium Hand Tossed Pizza with toppings of Pepperoni, Sausage, Sliced Mushrooms, and Sliced Black Olives. As usual it was delivered right on time and piping hot! I don’t eat out or have a Pizza delivered very often, but when I do it’s usually Domino’s. It’s nice for a change of pace of not having to cook and then clean afterwards for dinner. Below I’ve left a little history of Domino’s. For a dessert later a Healthy Choice Chocolate Swirl Frozen Yogurt.

The Kitchen is Closed! Hello Domino's!

Dinner Tonight: Domino's Pizza

BRRRRR! It was 0 out this morning. As the day went on the sun came out for the day but the high was only 20 degrees. Good day to stay in and get caught up on cleaning and running checks on the computer. Tonight the Kitchen is closed! It was Domino's Pizza Tonight!

I very rarely eat out. I usually make all 3 meals 7 days a week. But for dinner tonight my parents wanted Pizza and it didn’t sound too bad! So I ordered a Domino’s Pizza to be delivered. We ordered a Large Pizza with Shredded Provolone Cheese, Normal amount of the  Sauce, Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushrooms, Black Olives, on a Hand Tossed Pizza. It’s nice not to have to prepare dinner. First time in quite a while. Sort of a reward night tonight, I've lost weight, kept my sugar in tact, so it's time for one night at least to have a Pizza. The Domino's that we order from here in West Chester never disappoints, always piping hot and delicious! For dessert later a Del Monte No Sugar Added Peach Chunk Cup.

From its founding until the early 1990s, the menu at Domino's Pizza was kept simple relative to other fast food restaurants, to ensure efficiency of delivery. Historically, Domino's menu consisted solely of one pizza in two sizes (12-inch and 16-inch), 11 toppings, and Coca-Cola as the only soft drink option.
The first menu expansion occurred in 1989, with the debut of Domino's deep dish or pan pizza. Its introduction followed market research showing that 40% of pizza customers preferred thick crusts. The new product launch cost approximately $25 million, of which $15 million was spent on new sheet metal pans with perforated bottoms. Domino's started testing extra-large size pizzas in early 1993, starting with the 30-slice, yard-long "The Dominator".
Domino's tapped into a market trend toward bite-size foods with spicy Buffalo Chicken Kickers, as an alternative to Buffalo Wings, in August 2002. The breaded, baked, white-meat fillets, similar to chicken fingers, are packaged in a custom-designed box with two types of sauce to "heat up" and "cool down" the chicken.
In August 2003, Domino's announced its first new pizza since January 2000, the Philly Cheese Steak Pizza. The product launch also marked the beginning of a partnership with the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, whose beef Check-Off logo appeared in related advertising. Domino's continued its move toward specialty pizzas in 2006, with the introduction of its Brooklyn Style Pizza, featuring a thinner crust, cornmeal baked in to add crispness, and larger slices that could be folded in the style of traditional New York-style pizza.
In 2008, Domino's once again branched out into non-pizza fare, offering oven-baked sandwiches in four styles, intended to compete with Subway's toasted submarine sandwiches. Early marketing for the sandwiches made varied references to its competition, such as offering free sandwiches to customers named "Jared," a reference to Subway's spokesman of the same name.
The company introduced its American Legends line of specialty pizzas in 2009, featuring 40% more cheese than the company's regular pizzas, along with a greater variety of toppings. That same year, Domino's began selling its BreadBowl Pasta entree, a lightly seasoned bread bowl baked with pasta inside, and the Lava Crunch Cake dessert, composed of a crunchy chocolate shell filled with warm fudge. Domino's promoted the dessert by flying in 1,000 cakes to deliver at Hoffstadt Bluffs Visitor Center near Mount St Helens in Washington State.]
In 2010, shortly after the company's 50th anniversary, Domino's changed its pizza recipe "from the crust up", making significant changes in the dough, sauce, and cheese used in their pizzas. Their advertising campaign admitted to earlier problems with the public perception of Domino's product due to taste issues.
After a stock low point in late 2009, the company's stock had grown 233 percent by late 2011. Even as the American economy has suffered and unemployment has risen, Domino's has seen its sales rise dramatically through its efforts to rebrand and retool its pizza.
Domino's serves Coca-Cola products and is the only "Big Four" pizza chain to do so. Rivals Papa John's Pizza and Little Caesars sold Coca-Cola in the past (Pizza Hut, due to its previous ownership by PepsiCo, has a lifetime contract to sell Pepsi products), but both switched to Pepsi in 2012 and 2007, respectively. Domino's Pizza in Mexico switched to Pepsi in November 2012.
In September 2012, Domino's announced it was going to roll out a pan pizza on September 24, 2012. Following this move, the Deep Dish pizza was discontinued after 23 years of being on the menu.
