Kitchen Hint of the Day!

It's easy to make your own version of whole, peeled tomatoes that you would normally buy in a can. Buy a bunch of tomatoes when they're cheap, then core them and freeze them in an airtight container. When you're ready to use them in soups, sauces, or stews, hold each frozen tomato under warm running water and the skin will peel right off.
