Cheddar Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Cheddar Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

Back to a beautiful, sunny, Autumn Day, in the 20's this morning starting out though. Not much going on today, most of my friends are in downtown Cincinnati for the Bengals late afternoon Football Game. For dinner it was a Cheddar Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I used Great Range Ground Bison. I seasoned it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper and  pan fried it in Canola Oil, about 4 minutes per side. Came out medium rare with a nice char on the outside with a little pink and juicy in the middle! I made that switch to Buffalo, or Bison, quite a while back and have never missed Beef. I just love the taste of Buffalo over Beef and the way it cooks up. I served it on an Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bun and topped the Burger with a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar. For a side I baked up some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. For dessert/snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Jolly Time Pop Corn.

Great Range Ground Bison

All natural (Minimally processed. No artificial ingredients). Raised without antibiotics, no added hormones (Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in bison). US inspected and passed by Department of Agriculture. Great Range Brand is proud to bring you the same premium natural bison products served in the nation’s finest restaurants. Enjoy the flavor of Great Range!

Cheddar Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Cheddar Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

Overcast day out today and not much going on. Updated the computer and ran all the cleanups and installed a new program and that was the extent of my day. For dinner it was a Cheddar Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I used Great Range Ground Bison. I seasoned it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper and I pan fried it in Canola Oil, about 4 minutes per side. Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Dinner Tonight: Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

I was out getting the morning paper, about 6:45, and checked the outside thermometer and it was 47 degrees! August 14th and 47 this morning, Amazing and I love it! The day it was only 71 with a cool breeze. I had the 4 wheel Mobility Cart out all day. For dinner I prepared a Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

Tried to get the grill going but couldn't get it fired up, this is the last Summer for this grill. I used Great Range Ground Bison. I seasoned it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper and since the grill was down I pan fried it in Canola Oil, about 4 minutes per side. Came out just like I like them, medium rare with a nice char on the outside with a little pink and juicy in the middle! I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun and topped the Burger with Sauteed Baby Bella Mushrooms.

For a side to go with that delicious Buffalo Burger I baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Fries. I also had a couple of Peppadews to add some of that delicious Peppadew flavor. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Chocolate Swirl Frozen Yogurt.

Sauteed Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Dinner Tonight: Sauteed Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

I spent some of the day with little and lovely ladies, Jaden and Aria. Their my cousin's two little gals and I love spending time with them. I took them out for lunch and they wanted to go to Sonics, so Sonics it was! The oldest one is going to be in third grade and the other a first grader this year. Hopefully next week I'm going to have them over for a picnic before school starts back up, starting early this year. For dinner I prepared a Sauteed Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

We ll the grill died again so I had to pan fry the Burger. I used Great Range Ground Bison to make my Burger.I made my pattie and seasoned it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper. I pan fried it in Canola Oil and fried it about 4 minutes per side, a good medium rare with a char on the outside and a little pink in the center. Made a delicious juicy burger! I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun and topped with Sauteed Baby Bella Mushrooms.

To go with my Burger I had Baked Ore Ida Crinkle Fries with a side of Daisy Reduced Fat Sour Cream. Made a perfect and healthier Burger and Fries. Healthier by using Bison over Beef, by using a Whole Grain Bun, and by Baking the Fries instead of a deep fry. For dessert later a bowl of Del Monte No Sugar Added Peach Chunks.

Sauteed Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Dinner Tonight: Sauteed Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Not much going on today. I even took a rare afternoon siesta which I hardly ever do. I did go to a local farmers Vegetable stand nearby here and picked up a Watermelon and Cantaloupe up for my Mom and Dad. I can eat either but never been a huge fan of either. For dinner I prepared a Sauteed Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

I used Great Range Ground Bison to make my Burger. My favorite is Wild Idea Buffalo but I have a lot of the Great Range Bison in the freezer that I have to use. It's always a good product but it doesn't have the taste to it as Wild Idea Buffalo does. Anyway I made my pattie and seasoned it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper. I pan fried it in Canola Oil and fried it about 4 minutes per side, a good medium rare with a char on the outside and a little pink in the center. Makes a delicious juicy burger! I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun and topped with Sauteed Baby Bella Mushrooms.

To go with my Burger I had Baked Ore Ida Crinkle Fries with a side of Hunt's Ketchup. Made a perfect and healthier Burger and Fries. Healthier by using Bison over Beef, by using a Whole Grain Bun, and by Baking the Fries instead of a deep fry. For dessert later a bowl of Del Monte No Sugar Added Peach Chunks.

Turkey Bacon, Mushroom, Smoked Cheddar Bison Burger w/ Baked Ore Ida Crinkle Fries

Dinner Tonight: Wild Idea 1/4 Turkey Bacon, Mushroom, Smoked Cheddar Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Ore Ida Crinkle Fries

I've been wanting one of these Wild Idea Buffalo Burgers since I received my order from them! So for dinner tonight I prepared a Turkey Bacon, Mushroom, Smoked Cheddar Bison Burger w/ Baked Ore Ida Crinkle Fries. I normally just add Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn to the Burger, maybe Cheese, but I dressed this up.

I used a Wild Idea 1/4 lb. Buffalo Burger that I seasoned with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I pan fried it using Canola Oil, frying it about 3 1/2 to 4 minutes per side to a perfect medium rare. These are the best tasting juicy Bison Burgers I've ever had! The taste is just incredible, it's an almost sweet wild game taste. Did I tell you how juicy they are! I served it on a Aunt Millie's Light Whole Grain Bun and topped it with a slice of Oscar Mayer Low Sodium Turkey Bacon, Sauteed Mushrooms, and a slice of Borden's Smoked Cheddar Cheese. These are great with just the Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn but I wanted to load it up a bit because i have to start fasting after 10:00 pm to have my bi - yearly blood work done, checking Cholesterol, Sugar and Blood Cell counts.

For a side to go with my Buffalo Burger I had Baked Ore Ida Fries, only 120 calories and 19 carbs. For dessert a Jello Sugarless Dark Chocolate Pudding.

Wild Idea Buffalo 4 – 1/4-Lb Buffalo Burgers
Prepare for a whole new level of burger. Conveniently pre-made into one-quarter pound patties that are ever so grillable. Dinner ready. Each pack is 1 pound with 4 – 1/4 Lb patties.

Dinner Tonight: Smoked Cheddar and Mushroom Bison Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Quite a shift in our weather here in good ole Ohio. From near record highs near 70 degrees over the weekend to 28 degrees with a cold wind here on Monday! Got to keep thinking warm and sunny! Anyway for dinner one of my favorites a Smoked Cheddar and Mushroom Bison Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries! I used the last of my Buffalo Gal 1/3 Bison Patties. Their a really good looking plump Burger but overall I think I prefer Wild Idea or Great Range Brand bison, in fact I just placed an order with Wild Idea Buffalo.

I pan fried the Burger on medium heat in Canola Oil about 4 minutes per side. The Burger came out moist and juicy with that fantastic Bison taste. I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun topped with Sauteed Mushrooms and a slice of Borden Smoked Cheddar. I left the Buffalo Gal product info and web site link at the bottom of the post. For a side I had a serving of Baked Ore Ida Crinkle Fries. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Free.

Suggested Cooking Tips:
Bison burger is lean (ranging from 93-96% lean) so when grilling or pan frying the burger – place it on medium heat – COVER. Allow the burger to do its cooking on one side. Don’t poke, smash or continually flip the burger because you want to maintain all of the moisture and fat in the meat. When burger appears mostly cooked – flip one time and in 30-45 seconds it should be ready to serve. You might find that using a meat thermometer is helpful when first cooking the burger. It should reach 160 degrees internal temp.

Dinner Tonight: Smoked Cheddar and Mushroom Bison Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

In a span 24 hours here in the Ohio Valley it Thundered, Rained, Sleeted, Freezing Rain, and now it's Snowing. We have about 2" on the ground and they said we could expect anywhere from 6" to 8" with more coming over the weekend. Welcome to Ohio!

For dinner one of my favorites a Smoked Cheddar and Mushroom Bison Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries! Just love that Bison or Buffalo. I had ordered some Bison Products from http://www.buffalogal.com/. I had tried the Bison Top Sirloin about a week ago and tonight I'm trying the Buffalo Gal 1/3 Buffalo Patties. Their a really good looking plump Burger. I pan fried it on medium heat in Canola Oil about 4 minutes per side. The Burger came out moist and juicy with that fantastic Bison taste. I'll give it two thumbs up, excellent Bison Burger! Mushroom & Smoked Cheddar Bison Burger w/ Crinkle Fries

Dinner Tonight: Mushroom & Smoked Cheddar Bison Burger w/ Crinkle Fries

Really enjoyed the day, out spreading Christmas Cheer! I was out delivering Christmas cards and Gifts this afternoon. I love giving friends and family gifts, It's my favorite part of Christmas! I dropped off Candy and Gift Cards to my Family Doctor and his staff and cards and candy to my long time Oncologist along with his staff. Also while at my Oncologist, as I always do every month, I dropped off a huge box of Snacks - Doritos, Lay's Potato Chips, Cheese Crackers, and such the treatment center in his office. It's so sad, they enlarged their in office treatment center for cancer patients and it's still not large enough to treat all the patients fighting cancer. I received treatment there myself once and I hold a very soft spot in my heart for all those fighting the various forms of cancer. So I make sure I drop off snacks for the patients to snack on while receiving their treatments.  I finished up my gift deliveries by dropping a few cards off to my neighbors. I've got some great neighbors, they are always there to help and assist me with what ever help I need. Being in a wheelchair having good neighbors like I do is a blessing!

Well for dinner I prepared Mushroom & Smoked Cheddar Bison Burgers w/ Crinkle Fries. yes I've got my Mom eating a Bison Burger, she's coming around! I used Great Range Ground Bison Sirloin. I seasoned it with McCormick Grinder Steakhouse Seasoning and pan fried them about 3 - 4 minutes per side, 3 minutes for mine I like medium rare. I served them on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun and topped them with Sauteed Baby Bella Mushrooms and a slice of Bordon Smoked Cheddar Cheese.

For a side I baked some Alexia Crinkle Fries with a dipping side of Hunt's Ketchup. For a dessert/snack later I prepared some BBQ Pineapple Turkey Meatballs. 3 ingredients; 1 package Honeysuckle White Turkey Meatballs, 1 bottle BBQ Sauce (I used Montgomery Inn Sauce), and 1 small can Dole Pineapple Tid Bits. Just add all ingredients to a medium size sauce pan set it on low and let it simmer till warmed through out. Makes a great little quick snack or appetizer.

Today’s Menu: Bison Smoked Cheddar Burger w/ Green Giant Green Beans w/ Almonds and Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

It was freezer cleaning floater day around here to day as we cleaned out the refrigerator's freezer and my Mom's stand up freezer today. So for dinner it was a Potluck Dinner of the odds and ends we found floating in the freezers. You know how easy it is to let leftovers and half packages of different items gradually get pushed back to the back of your freezer and then wonder how come you don't have any room in your freezer! My Mom prepared her and my Dad Potluck Dinner and I prepared mine. I had Bison Smoked Cheddar Burger w/ Green Giant Green Beans w/ Almonds with a apptiezer of baked Mozzarella Cheese Sticks.

I had a Wild Idea Buffalo 1/4 lb. Bison Burger. I seasoned it with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I pan fried it in Extra Virgin Olive Oil about 3 minutes per side. It fried up perfectly! I topped it with a slice of Bordon’s Smoked Cheddar Cheese and served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun. I love Bison meat over Beef and Wild Idea is even tastier than normal Bison. It's got that slight taste of Wild game and a little hint of sweet. Wild Idea Buffalo is one of the best I've had. Looking forward to trying their other cuts of Buffalo.

For sides I had an appetizer of baked Alexia Mozzarella Sticks and a single serving of Green Giant Green Beans w/ Almonds. I had enough of the Alexia Mozzarella Sticks leftover for everyone to have an appetizer. The Green Giant Green Beans come frozen in a microwavable pouch. Just heat for 3 minutes and it's ready. Sometimes a freezer Potluck meal is the best! For dessert/snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Jolly Time Pop Corn.

Today's Menu: Bison Smoked Cheddar Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Well after having the delicious Wild Idea Buffalo Top Sirloin Bison Steak I couldn't wait to try their 1/4 lb. Bison Burger that I ordered. I seasoned it with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I pan fried it in Extra Virgin Olive Oil about 3 minutes per side. It fried up perfectly! I topped it with a slice of Bordon's Smoked Cheddar Cheese and served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun. So I've had Wild Idea Buffalo's Top Sirloin Steak and now their 1/4 lb. Bison Burger and my overall rating is nothing but delicious for their products! Can't wait to order some of the different Bison selections they have.

For a side I had I baked some Alexia Crinkle Fries. Baked at 450 degrees for 20 minutes and I seasoned them with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper. For dessert later something new, TCBY Tropical Mango/Peach Frozen Yogurt. I sampled it the other day and purchased a pint right away! Creamy with chunks of Mango and Peach.
