For Breakfast this morning I scrambled 1 Egg, cooked up 2 Glier's Turkey Goetta Patties, toasted 1
slice of Healthy Life Whole Grain Bread (lightly buttered), and had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I took Mom's car and had it washed and the inside cleaned. It's already so humid out here that it almost feels you can push the air out of the way, terrible humidity again! Here in West Chester today they have an annual Food Truck Rally but it's just too miserable out to go.You walk out here in our neighborhood all you hear are the hums of air conditioners, the Energy Company's are making a fortune. Went to Costco at 10:00 when they opened. They only have 5 electric carts for the store, which is pathetic! So if you don't get there early you won't get a cart, or at least one that is charged up (they never recharge them at that store). Anyway I was running low on my Nature Made Vitamins, picked up a Shrimp Cocktail Ring, 5 cases of canned goods for our Church Meal Center, and a couple of items Mon needed. That was about my day! For Dinner tonight its Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Shoestring Fries.
I used the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I cut one the Sausage Links into Bun length pieces. I absolutely love the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. It’s got such a fantastic flavor and always cooks up just right. To prepare them I used a large skillet, added about a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and preheated it on medium heat. Put the Sausage in the skillet when it was heated up and covered with a lid. I turned the Sausage every few minutes to get an even char on them, cooked about 11 minutes total. As always they came out just bursting with flavor and flat-out delicious! I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Hot Dog Bun and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard.
To go with the Sausage Dog I baked up some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn Medley. Baked them at 425 degrees for 18 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, excellent Shoestring Fries! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. Served with a side of my favorite Ketchup, Hunt’s Ketchup. I had a Snapple Diet Peach to drink. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Mousse.
