Hint #1 - Fresh beef can be left in its original wrapper if cooked within 6-8 hours of purchase. If you plan on keeping it without freezing, it's best to re-wrap it.
Hint #2 - Ground beef can be left in its shrink- wrapped package for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
