Kitchen Hint of the Day!

Here's one I never heard of before, sent in by Tara!


For more flavorful cornbread, save the unpopped kernels from popcorn and grind them in a coffee grinder until they are medium-fine in texture.

Use the ground kernels to replace the same amount of plain cornmeal in your cornbread recipe. Mix and bake as usual. The ground kernels give the cornbread a stronger corn flavor.
