Buffalo Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: 1/4 lb. Buffalo Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries

What an incredible sunrise this morning! I went out to get the Morning Papers and just sat outside admiring Mother Nature's work. I went in grabbed my camera and snapped the a couple of photos, wish I had a better camera but it they came out okay. Had the new roof put on yesterday, and today is a whole lot quieter! The new roof looks great. Dad is due home tomorrow so I didn't go see him today, Mom did and I stayed home and house clean. Found some time later to get the cart out for a while to enjoy this beautiful Fall Day. For dinner tonight I prepared a 1/4 lb. Buffalo Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries.

When I'm having a Burger it's a Buffalo Burger, a Wild Idea Buffalo 1/4 Buffalo Burger. I usually
have the 1/3 lb. Wild Idea Buffalo Burger but I found a package of the 1/4 lb. Buffalo Patties in the freezer, so I went with that tonight. I laid it in the fridge overnight to thaw. I seasoned it with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it in Extra Virgin Olive Oil about 3 1/2 minutes per side. Buffalo gets done rather quickly due to it’s so lean. I topped it with a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Sauteed Mushrooms, served it on an Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun.

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Mousse.

4 – 1/4-Lb Buffalo Burgers
Prepare for a whole new level of burger. Conveniently pre-made into one-quarter pound patties that are ever so grillable. Dinner ready. Each pack is 1 pound with 4 – 1/4 Lb patties.

Sharp Cheddar and Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Steak Fries

Dinner Tonight: Sharp Cheddar and Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Steak Fries

The rains have stopped, the sun is out, and it's a beautiful day out! Had a light Breakfast and out the door. Went to Mejier and they were finally well stocked on Jennie - O Turkey Products! They had the
Jennie - O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages, and the Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast, and I just ran out of freezer room! Back home swept up outside around the house then at 2:45 I had a doctor's appointment with my Family Doctor, to take a look at my finger that has lump on it just beneath the skin. My Family Doc seemed a bit concerned so he's sending me to my Dermatologist, in next Tuesday. So hopefully it's nothing but I'm real nervous, the wait is worse than anything! Anyway for dinner tonight I prepared a Sharp Cheddar and Mushroom Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Steak Fries.

Used my favorite Buffalo, the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Buffalo Burger. I had it in the freezer so I laid it in the fridge overnight to thaw. I Preheated up a small skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray, seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it, in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, about 3 1/2 minutes per side, and done! I topped it with a slice of Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Sauteed Mushrooms, served it on a Kroger Lite Wheat Hamburger Bun. Just love these Buffalo Burgers; meaty, juicy and just flat out delicious For a side I baked some Ore Ida Steak Fries, with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for the Fries

Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries

It's been one rainy day in the neighborhood today. It was in the 60's with a little burst of sunshine every now and then between storms. After getting a few things done around the house I ventured to Kroger. I was able to get in without getting rained on but leaving was an adventure, it was pouring the rain. By the time I got everything loaded in the car I was soaked, and would have been a lot worse if not for some passing West Chester Firemen. They helped me load everything and took the electric cart back in for me. And Kroger was packed, every register was opened and had several people in line at each of them. I guess people were getting their groceries for the upcoming Easter. So tonight for dinner I'm having a Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.

A one pan meal!

I used a Gorton’s Fish Fillet that I baked along with some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Baked both at the same time both at 400 degrees. I served the Gorton’s Fish on a Kroger Lite Wheat Bun and topped the Fish with just a little Tarter Sauce and a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese. With the Fries I had some Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. Frozen foods sure come in handy for last minute meals or on those days where you just don't feel like cooking a big meal! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Yogurt. Later!

Dinner Tonight: Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries

Another frigid morning here, -1 degrees! The wind chill dropped it to -11. They are saying by the weekend it should at least be at 32 degrees, heat wave baby! Well with the weather outside I stayed inside, Did a load of laundry and then caught up on some shows I had recorded and some reading. For Breakfast It was Turkey Goetta, 1 Egg, and Wheat Toast. Lunch was a Turkey Meatloaf Sandwich on a Whole Grain Bun and for a last minute dinner substitute, a Fish sandwich w/ Baked Fries

I had a dinner planned out but about the time I was getting ready to prepare dinner I noticed that my car was leaking antifreeze, not a good time to be leaking either with our weather! I had taken a bag of garbage out and noticed it leaking. So I took to the mechanic we always used and dropped it off. So to avoid an over crowded kitchen, Mom was wanting to prepare her dinner for her and Dad, I wanted something quickly to prepare. I used a Gorton's Fish Sandwich Fillet that I baked along with some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Baked both at the same time.

I served the Gorton's Fish on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Bun and topped the Fish with a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese. With the Fries I had some Hunt's Ketchup for dipping. Frozen foods sure come in handy for last minute meals! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Yogurt. Later!

Grilled Cheese and Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Grilled Cheese and Baked Fries

A little more energy and strength today but the big news is Mom and Dad. Both are doing much, much better today, and about time! Dad was released from the hospital late this afternoon. From people I've talked to, this strain of flu going around keeping everyone down and out for a while. I'll be glad when it passes. Been a cloudy, windy, and cold day out today. Went to Walgreen for Mom and back home. For dinner tonight it’s a Grilled Cheese and Baked Fries.

A light comfort food sounded good, real easy to prepare and delicious too! I used 3 slices of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar. Then for my Bread I used Klosterman Wheat Bread, 70 calories and 13 net carbs for 2 slices. Then to prepare it I got out the Flat Griddle Pan, heated it up on medium heat and coated it with a pat of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. When the Butter was melted I added my sandwich. Grilled it on both sides until it was golden brown and the Cheese melted. Nothing like a good and toasty  Grilled Cheese on a cold Winters day!

Then for a side for my Grilled Cheese I baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.

Mushroom and Sharp Cheddar Turkey Burger w/ 3 Bean Salad and Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Mushroom and Sharp Cheddar Turkey Burger w/ 3 Bean Salad and Baked Fries

Oh I hope winter is over, because today has really spoiled everyone around here today. Sunny and in the low 50's! And they say the 60's are on the way. We deserve this it's been one long, cold, and snowy winter. Was able to get outside a couple of times today to enjoy this weather. For dinner tonight I prepared a Sharp Cheddar Turkey Burger w/ 3 Bean Salad and Baked Fries.

I used the Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties (Lean). Only 180 calories and 9 g fat and already made into fresh patties. Pan fried them in a 1/2 Tbs of Canola Oil and seasoned it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper. I served it on an Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun and topped with sauteed sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms and a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin  Sharp Cheddar. I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries and had a serving of Read's 3 Bean Salad. It comes in a can and you can prepare it various ways. I just opened the can and put it in a plastic bowl, put the lid on, and set in the refrigerator to chill for a couple of hours or so. I served these cold. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Double Chocolate Pudding.

Sharp Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Sharp Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

The weather forecast hit it on the nose for a change! We got about 4" or a bit more, with some more on its way the next few days. Then the bad part is the below zero weather coming next week! They're saying a couple of mornings will be down to minus 10 degrees, way too cold!  But the days are getting longer so that's a good thing. For dinner tonight a Burger and Fries. I prepared a Sharp Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I normally use the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/4 lb. Burger but I had a package of the 1/3-Lb Buffalo Burgers that I used for dinner tonight. Same great taste but a tad bigger.  I seasoned it with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it in Canola Oil about 3 1/2 minutes per side. Buffalo gets done rather quickly due to it’s so lean. I topped it with a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese and served it on a Aunt Millie's Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun. Mushroom and Sharp Cheddar Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Mushroom and Sharp Cheddar Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries

Well the Holiday's are over and time to get things back to normal. We didn't have a lot of decorations so we'll keep what we have up till this weekend. It's been a cold but sunny day out today. Ran a couple of errands for Mom and that's been about it for today. I warmed up the leftovers from the Christmas Feast for Mom and Dad for dinner. Myself, I really didn't want leftovers so I prepared a Mushroom and Sharp Cheddar Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I used Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties (Lean). Only 180 calories and 9 g fat and already made into patties. Pan fried them in a 1/2 Tbs of Canola Oil and seasoned it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper. I served it on an Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun and topped with some sauteed sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms and a slice of Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar. I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries. Served these with a side Daisy Reduced Fat Sour Cream. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Double Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Free.
