Creamy Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Dinner Tonight: Creamy Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich

For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs and topped them with a sprinkle of
Sargento Off the Block Cheddar Cheese and Ortega Smoked Chipotle Taco Sauce. I also toasted a couple of slices of Aunt Millie's Light Whole Grain Bread and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Cloudy and 47 degrees out on this St. Patrick's Day Morning. After Breakfast I went and picked up Breakfast for Mom at McDonald's and stopped and got gas for her car. Mom went on to Church. She's feeling a lot better today. I did a load of laundry and it was house cleaning today. Had everything done and watched College Basketball for the afternoon. Dinner tonight another one of those Comfort Foods Dinner, Creamy Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

I heated up a can of Amy’s Organic Creamy Tomato Soup. My favorite Tomato Soup by far. I’ve been using for quite some time now. So creamy with a fantastic flavor and it’s 110 calories and 19 carbs. Just empty the contents into a small sauce pan and heat on medium, stirring often, until heated. And it’s ready to go!

Then for my Grilled Cheese I’ll be using; Kraft Sliced Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Blue Bonnet Light
Butter, and Healthy Life Whole Grain Bread. I started by buttering the outside half of a slice of bread. Layered 2 slices of the Sharp Cheddar on top. Added my top half of the sliced bread, buttering the outside of the slice. I then got out a skillet, heated it up on medium heat and lightly coated it with a 1/2 pat of Butter. When the Butter was melted I added my sandwich. Grilled it on both sides until it was golden brown and the Cheese melted. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Dinner Tonight: Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

For Breakfast this morning I Poahced an Egg and served it on a toasted slice of Aunt Millie's Light
Whole Grain Bread. Also had that morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea.Very windy and 51 degrees out today, but at least its not raining. Not real active today, I woke up about 4:00 this morning with those Phantom Pains. They finally let up around 2:00 this afternoon but as usual they took everything out of me. So it was truly a day of rest. For Dinner tonight I had a Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

As always I’m using the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Burgers. Just love these Buffalo Burgers; meaty,
juicy and just flat out delicious! Preheated up a skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray, seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it about 3 1/2 minutes per side, and done. After I flipped the Burger I added a slice of Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese on top.

As my Burger was getting done, I had bought a loaf of Gold Miner California Sour Dough Bread at Meijer. I got 2 slices. I heated a skillet up and added some Blue Bonnet Light Butter and heated the pan on medium. Put my Burger on the Sour Dough Bread and toasted it in the skillet I just heated. I love that Sour Dough Bread. But I don’t have it too often because of the higher Calories and Carbs than the Aunt Millie's Bread I normally use. The Burger was delicious!

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Sprite Zero to drink.

Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Buffalo Burgers

Prepare for a whole new level of burger. Conveniently pre-made into one-third pound patties that are
ever so grillable. Dinner ready. Each pack is 1 pound with 3 – 1/3 Lb patties.

Chunky Baked Potato Soup with Cheddar and Bacon Bits w/ Grilled Cheese

Dinner Tonight: Chunky Baked Potato Soup with Cheddar and Bacon Bits w/ Grilled Cheese

For Breakfast I prepared a favorite of mine. I made some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, Heated up some Meijer Diced Ham, fried an Egg Sunnyside Up, made a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. I made a bed of the Hash Browns in a bow and sprinkled some Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp
Cheddar Cheese. Next I put the Diced Ham over top the Hash Browns then put the Sunnyside Up Egg on to top it off. Outside the weather isn't quite as bad, but it was still about minus 1 this morning. It became sunny and a high of 21 degrees. I was able to get out a bit today. Cleared off both of snow and started both and let them run for a few minutes. Threw some salt out on part of the driveway that had ice on it. Later on caught up on a couple of movies that I recorded. For Dinner tonight its all Comfort Food! I prepared Chunky Baked Potato Soup with Cheddar and Bacon Bits w/ Grilled Cheese.

With the Weather still bad it just seemed like a perfect day for Soup and Grilled Cheese! For my Soup I heated up a can of Campbell’s Chunky Baked Potato Soup with Cheddar and Bacon Bits. Another easy to prepare item; just empty the contents of the can into a sauce pan and heat. Heated it on medium low heat, stirring often. I love a thick and hearty Soup and this one is perfect. Campbell’s Chunky Baked Potato Soup with Cheddar and Bacon Bits is the best there is, at least to me.

For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Coke Zero to drink.

Creamy Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Dinner Tonight: Creamy Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich

To start my day off I Scrambled an Egg, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 46 degrees and mostly sunny out today. I got the leaf blower out and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas, lot of leaves again. Then back inside I cleaned the house today and then helped Mom out the rest of day with some Thanksgiving dishes. For Dinner tonight another one of those Comfort Foods Dinner, Creamy Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

Egg Sandwich and Hash Browns

Dinner Tonight: Egg Sandwich and Hash Brown

To start my morning off I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea, just hungry this morning. Had just a trace of frost this morning. I wish we would get a freeze so it would kill off some of ragweed, it
would be a lot better for my allergies! Sunny and 53 degrees out today. After Breakfast I went up the road to the nearby Kroger for a few items and my regular stop at McDonald's to pick up Breakfast for Mom. Spent most of the day in the Kitchen. Baked some Pillsbury Halloween Cookies for all my cousins little ones. I also got their Halloween Bags ready for them. Then both Mom and me had been wanting some Pig in the Blankets so I picked up the ingredients for them. They are great to snack on!. I used Turkey Sausages and a can of Pillsbury Reduced Calorie Crescent Rolls to make them. So for Dinner tonight it’s an Egg Sandwich and Hash Browns.

I love Egg Sandwiches! hadn’t made for quite a while. And made a couple a while back and been
having them more often. To make it all I’ll need is 2 Eggs, Salt and Pepper, a slice of Kraft Sharp Cheddar, a bit of Blue Bonnet Light Butter, and 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. Just get a mixing cup or coffee cup and crack open both Eggs into it. Season it with the Salt and Pepper and whisk it all together.

Heat a small skillet on medium heat, I sprayed it with Pam Cooking Spray. I added the Butter, and when heated added the Egg Mixture. Fry it till the bottom browns and flip it. I then added my slice of Cheese on top of it. Cook until dome, and it’s ready! You can toast the Bread if you like, I didn’t toast mine.

To go with my Egg Sandwich I prepared some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, which I love having anytime. Seasoned them with Salt and Pepper and served them sprinkled with Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

How healthy are Eggs…..

Eggs are a very good source of inexpensive, high quality protein. More than half the protein of an egg is found in the egg white along with vitamin B2 and lower amounts of fat and cholesterol than the yolk. The whites are rich sources of selenium, vitamin D, B6, B12 and minerals such as zinc, iron and copper.

Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns

Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns fry up perfectly to a crisp, golden brown because they’re
made from quality potatoes. They’re always fresh, never frozen so you’ll never have to worry about freezer burn. Fresh, delicious potatoes mean you never have to sacrifice great homemade taste.

Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

No Breakfast this morning, but had Brunch. Mom slept late and I went and got us both Panera Breakfast Sandwiches. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Beautiful Fall day out there today! Sunny and a high of 68 degrees. Got the leaf blower out and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. Then got the cart out of the shed and got some yard work done then when done took a spin around the neighborhood. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I just love these Buffalo Burgers! I made this one combining my two favorites, Wild idea Buffalo and Jennie – O Turkey! I used Jennie – O Turkey Bacon for my Burger topping. Heated up a medium size skillet on medium high heat and fried the Bacon until it was crisp. Removed it from the skillet to a Paper Towel lined plate, and set aside. Always remember when frying Bacon use Bacon Math. Just decide how many slices you’ll need and double it. Because, at least when I fry Bacon, you end up eating as much as you fix as you’re preparing it!

For the Buffalo Burger I used my favorite, the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Buffalo Burgers as usual.
Their meaty, juicy and just flat out delicious! Preheated up a small skillet that I sprayed with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray, seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. I then pan fried it, in Extra Light Olive Oil, about 3 1/2 minutes per side. After flipping the Burger I added a slice of Kraft Deluxe Sharp Cheddar Cheese, with about 1 minute of cooking time left. Topped it with the Turkey Bacon and served it on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Bun. I love a good Buffalo Burger!

To go with my Burger I baked some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with
McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, excellent Fry! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Prepare for a whole new level of burger. Conveniently pre-made into one-third pound patties that are ever so grillable. Dinner ready. Each pack is 1 pound with 3 – 1/3 Lb patties.

Bison Sliders w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Bison Sliders w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast I just had a cup of Bigeow Decaf Gren Tea. Very restless last night and I didn't get a lot of sleep. Rain Showers, Humid, and 88 degrees out today. A good day to stay in and get caught up on some sleep! For Dinner tonight I prepared Bison Sliders w/ Baked Fries.

Tonight I'm trying the Buffalo Gal Bison Slider Patties. I had ordered the Bison Sliders, Bison Cube Steak, and Bison New York Strip Steaks. I had the Cube Steak the other night, which was excellent! And tonight it's the Buffalo Sliders. They come 8 to a package, 2oz. Sliders. I had them in the freezer so I layed 2 of them in fridge overnight to thaw. To prepare them I'll need Extra Light Olive Oil, McCormick Grinders of Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, a slice of Kraft Deli Deluxe Sharp Cheddar (1 slice is enough for both Burgers), and Pepperidge Farm Classic Slider Buns.

To prepare I grabbed a skillet and added a tablespoon of the Extra Light Olive oil to it. I heated it on medium heat. When the Skillet was ready I added my Sliders. As all Bison or Buffalo Meats it cooks quickly so keep a close eye on them. I cooked them about 2 1/2 minutes per side, I added the 1/2 a slice of Cheese to the sliders after I flipped them. They cooked up perfectly! The Slider Buns and Patties fit perfect. Excellent product from Buffalo Gal!

To go with the Sandwich I baked some Fries. I’m using Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned
them with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn Medley. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, excellent Fry! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. For Dessert later I'm having a Country Apple Dumpling with a scoop of Breyer's Carb Smart Ice Cream. Mom came across the recipe in the latest issue of AllRecipes Magazine. I turned out really good! Mom replaced the Sugar with Splenda and we used Diet Sprite in place of the regular Sprite to save on calories and carbs. For the Ice Cream I used Breyer's Carb Smart Vanilla Ice Cream.

Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Dinner Tonight: Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

For Breakfast this morning I fried up some thin cut Pork Chops, prepared some Simply Potatoes
Shredded Hash Browns, Scrambled an Egg, and had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I went to Meijer Garden Center, needed a few items. Then picked up a few things in the Grocery side. Back home did a load of laundry and cleaned the house. After Lunch I got the cart out and got a few things done around the house outside. Had to cut the vines again along the driveway. Tonight I’m having a Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

As always I'm using the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Burgers. Just love these Buffalo Burgers; meaty, juicy and just flat out delicious!

As my Burger was getting done, I had bought a loaf of GoldMiner California Sour Dough Bread at Meijer. I got 2 slices. I heated a skillet up and added some Blue Bonnet Light Butter and heated the pan on medium. Put my Burger on the Sour Dough Bread and toasted it in the skillet I just heated. I love that Sour Dough Bread. But I don't have it too often because of the higher Calories and Carbs than the Bread I normally use. The Burger was delicious!

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop - Pop Corn and a Peach Diet Snapple to drink.

Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie's Light Whole Grain Bread, Fried 2 Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, prepared a Sunnyside Up Egg, and a cup of Bigelow
Decaf Green Tea. After some warmer temps it's back down to 23 degrees this morning. Had a high of 35 degrees and cloudy out. After Breakfast I headed to McDonald's and picked up Breakfast for Mom and Dad. Then headed back out to the local Kroger and stopped by the bank before heading home. They finally broke ground for the new Kroger about 2 miles up the road. The Kroger around here is an older and small Kroger and the new one is going to be one of their Super Stores. It should be nice when they get it built. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I just love these Buffalo Burgers! I made this one combining my two favorites, Wild idea Buffalo and

Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

Dinner Tonight: Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin and topped it with Smucker’s Sugarless Blackberry Jam. Then I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea Sunny and 50 degrees outside today. Didn't do a whole lot today. Didn't get much sleep last night, dealing with Phantom Pains all night and through most of the morning. So I did what I needed to do around the house after Breakfast and after Lunch I caught up on some sleep for the rest of the day. When Phantom Pains were as painful as these were it takes all the energy out of me. A lot of rest is what I needed, feel a lot better. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I can only go so long without having a Wild Idea Buffalo Burger!
