Baked Chicken Wings w/ Baked Fries and Light Texas Toast

Dinner Tonight: Baked Chicken Wings w/ Baked Fries and Light Texas Toast

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light Multi Grain English Muffin English Muffin. I
normally use Healthy Life Multi Grain English Muffins but Kroger is the only store to carry them and they haven't had any in stock for over a month. Time to switch! The Thomas Muffins are comparable to the Healthy Life, both are 100 calories and 17 net carbs. Anyway I topped the Muffin with a Poached Egg. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Sunny, hot, and very humid outside today! The normal August weather has returned! After Lunch I got the leaf blower out and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. Too humid to be outside for me. Took it easy the rest of the day. For Dinner tonight I prepared Baked Chicken Wings w/ Baked Fries and Light Texas Toast.

For the Wings I'm using Kroger Oven Roasted Chicken Wings. I started by heating the oven on  425 degrees F., same temperature I'll need for my Fries and Texas Toast. I took a small Baking Sheet and lined it with foil. Then sprayed it with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray. Spread the Wings out across the sheet and baked them for 33 minutes, turning them once after 17 minutes. I love Wings, and these are excellent Wings! Served them with Dipping Sauces of Hidden Valley Buffalo/Ranch Dressing and Litehouse Light Blue Cheese Dressing.

With the oven already heated I baked my Fries. I used Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup.

I also baked up some slices of New York Bakery Light Texas Toast. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Coke Zero to drink.

Crispy Chicken Strips and Baked Potato

Dinner Tonight: Crispy Chicken Strips and Baked Potato

Last minute Dinner Menu due to a few problems. Everything fine now though. Tonight I prepared Crispy Chicken Strips and Baked Potato

I had something else planned for Dinner but that was put on hold as we were dealing with a family
emergency again. I wanted a hot Meal and something easy to prepare. Mom had a package of PERDUE Crispy Chicken Strips in the freezer so I grabbed those. To prepare it I preheated the oven to 425°F . Sprayed a small baking sheet with cooking spray. Placed frozen strips in single layer on baking sheet. Baked for 16 to 18 minutes, or until heated through. Internal temperature should reach 165°F. Turn the Strips halfway through heating time. They come out golden brown and delicious!

I also prepared a Baked Potato. Seasoned that with the McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn
Medley, and topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also baked a slice of New York Bakery Lite Texas Toast, One delicious meal tonight. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Coke Zero to drink.

Crispy Chicken Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Italian Green Beans

Dinner Tonight: Crispy Chicken Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Italian Green Beans

For Breakfast this morning I made a favorite of mine, Skillet Potatoes and Ham. I used 1 package of
Simply Potatoes Steakhouse Seasoned Diced Potatoes and a package of Meijer Diced Ham to prepare it. Just cook the Potatoes according to the package instructions and with about 5 minutes of cooking time left add the Diced Ham. I topped everything with a sprinkle of Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar and a fried Sunny Side Up Egg. Very good way to start this chilly Saturday morning. We broke a record high yesterday, 76 degrees, and overnight rain and cold front moves in. Some places actually seen snow flurries! Cold and windy today, even had a chill factor today. Oh this Ohio Weather! So today was a good day to get some laundry and house cleaning done followed by an afternoon of College Football! For Dinner tonight its  Crispy Chicken Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Italian Green Beans.

I used the PERDUE® Crispy Chicken Strips, my favorite frozen Chicken to prepare. So to prepare it, I preheated the oven to 425°F . Sprayed a small baking sheet with cooking spray. Placed frozen strips in single layer on baking sheet. Baked for 16 to 18 minutes, or until heated through. Internal temperature should reach 150°F – 160°F. Turn the Strips halfway through heating time. They come out golden brown and delicious! Really enjoy these, had a side of Hidden Valley Ranch Buffalo Dressing to dip the Chicken.

For one side dish I prepared my favorite Mashed Potatoes, Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes. Easy to fix and delicious. To prepare it just heat it up in the microwave for 6 minutes and it’s ready. Then for another side I reheated the leftover Allens Cut Italian Green Beans from last night's Dinner. Love these Beans almost as much as I do the regular Cut Green Beans, the Italian Beans are a bigger Bean. To drink I had a 7.5 once can of Coke Zero. For Dessert later a bowl of Dole Sliced Peaches.

Buffalo Ranch Pulled Chicken Sandwich w/ Baked Fries

Today's Menu: Buffalo Ranch Pulled Chicken Sandwich w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast I made a Breakfast Sandwich, I had this yesterday and it was so good I had to have another! I toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin, fried up some Boar's Head Deluxe Ham, and topped the Ham with a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Swiss Cheese. And as always my
morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I headed out to Walmart. If you rely on Electric Carts, like myself, when going to Walmart you have to go early to assure you get a cart that works or even get one before the few that they have are all gone! Picked up some Bigelow Tea and a few items in the hardware and yard sections. Stopped Kroger to pick up a Rotisserie Whole Roaster from the Deli. Plus I wanted to early and get back home before the heat and humidity kicks in along with passing showers. Got the cart out and finished off some yard work in between rain showers. We really need the rain, everything is too dry around the area. So for Dinner tonight its a Buffalo Ranch Pulled Chicken Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.

To make Dinner tonight I'll need the Pulled Chicken from a Simple Truth Rotisserie Whole Roaster, Sargento Ultra Thin Swiss Cheese, Hidden Valley Buffalo Ranch Dressing, and Aunt Millie's Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hamburger Bun.

As I said I had purchased a Simple Truth Rotisserie Whole Roaster from the Kroger Deli earlier today. Love these Simple Truth Roasters, delicious and twice the size than most Deli Rotisserie Whole Roasters. The first thing I did was pull all the Chicken Meat; removing the skin and any
bones. Put the Chicken in a bowl and set aside. I then grabbed a small skillet and heated it on medium heat. Added just enough of the Pulled Chicken to make the Sandwich. As the Chicken was heating I piled it up in the skillet and topped it with a slice of Swiss Cheese. As it melted I removed it from the skillet to the Bun. Topped it with Hidden Valley Buffalo Ranch, and done! The Hidden Valley Buffalo Ranch is a new item out, and it's fantastic! Creamy with nice heat, another item to keep in stock! The sandwich turned out a winner. Chicken, Swiss and the Dressing are a great trio. I left more info on Hidden Valley Buffalo Ranch at the end of the post, give it a try!

To go with the Sandwich I baked some Alexia 98% Fat Free Roasted Straight Cut Fries with Sea Salt. To prepare them I baked them at 425 degrees for 17 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, another excellent Fry from Alexia! For Dessert later a Weight Watcher's Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar.

Hidden Valley® Buffalo Ranch®
Pretty sure this gluten-free flavor will go down as the most dippable of all our ranches. Wings, celery sticks, chicken salad? Throw this on anything and everything for a tangy and deliciously addictive cayenne kick.
