Dinner Tonight: Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries
For Breakfast this morning I toasted a couple of Eggo Waffles, topped them with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Lot of rain overnight into the day today, even a thunderstorm overnight. Had a high around 57 degrees today. I managed to go to Kroger in between the rain showers. Picked up Breakfast at McDonald's for Mom and Dad. Stopped and filled the car up with gas while the price was down. Back home after Lunch I installed a new Virus Protection and did some other work on some programs. For Dinner tonight its a Jennie - O Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.
I using the the Jennie – O Seasoned Turkey Burger Patties. I pan fried these using Extra Light Olive Oil and seasoned with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. In a preheated, medium heat, medium sized skillet I cooked the Burger for about 8 minutes per side, 165 degrees internal Burger temperature. And what a Burger! Meaty, juicy, and flavorful. Another excellent Jennie – O Turkey Product. I served it on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Bun and topped the Turkey Burger with some Heinz 57 Sauce.
To go with my Turkey Burger I baked some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn Medley. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, excellent Shoestring Fry! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. I also reheated a couple of slices of Pillsbury French Bread that I had baked yesterday. For Dessert later a bowl of Dole Sliced Peaches
