Roast Beef, Ham, Bacon, and Cheddar Cheese Double Decker w/ Chips

Dinner Tonight: Roast Beef, Ham, Bacon, and Cheddar Cheese Double Decker w/ Chips

For Breakfast this morning I made some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, Heated up some Meijer Diced Ham, fried an Egg Sunnyside Up, made a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. I made a bed of the Hashbrowns in a bow and sprinkled some Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese.
Next I put the Diced Ham over top the Hash Browns then put the Sunnyside Up Egg on to top it off. One of my favorite Breakfasts! After Breakfast I went up to the local Kroger for a couple of items ands stopped by the ATM machine at the Bank on the way back home. Cloudy and a high of 48 degrees out. Got the leaf blower out and did the usual cleaning of the deck and driveway areas. Trimmed down Mom's Rose Bushes and gave a final trim to a couple of the hedges. Not a whole lot else going on today. For Dinner tonight its Sandwich Night, I prepared a Roast Beef, Ham, Bacon, and Cheddar Cheese Double Decker w/ Chips.

I went to Jungle Jim's International Market yesterday and purchased several Boar's Head Meats and Cheese. Jungle Jim's carries all of Boar's Head products along with some test items from Boar's Head. I purchased Boar's Head London Broil Roast Beef (Rare), Sweet Sliced Ham, and Boar's Head Vermont Cheddar (sliced).  I used these3 items along with Simple Truth Hickory Smoked Bacon, Bib Lettuce, Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil, Emeril's Deli Style Mustard,  and Aunt Millie's Light Whole Grain Bread (3 slices) to make my Double Decker.

To start I gathered everything up. I first fried my Bacon 4 slices. And as always when frying Bacon you always make double the amount you need because it's near impossible not to snack on it  as your making it! With the Bacon fried I started making my Double Decker. I first toasted my 3 slices of Bread. On the bottom slice of Toast I first spread Mayo across it, next a slice of the Vermont Cheddar, 2 slices of Bacon, Bib Lettuce, then slices of the Sweet Sliced Ham, topped it with the Deli Mustard, and my bottom half of the Decker was done.

Topped everything with another slice of the Toast. I then topped that with Mayo, a slice of the Cheese, 2 slices of Bacon, Bib Lettuce, next slices of the Roast Beef, Deli Mustard, and the last slice of Toast. And the Double Decker is ready! Wow, what a Sandwich! Love the Boar's Head Meat and Cheese. Then the Mayo and Mustard give perfect flavor. Excellent Sandwich!

I had some Ruffle’s Reduced Fat Potato Chips to go with the Sandwich I also had a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink. For Dessert later a Weight Watcher's Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar.

Baked Ham, Salami, and Swiss Mini Sub w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Dinner Tonight: Baked Ham, Salami, and Swiss Mini Sub w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

You could tell it was going to be an uncomfortable day outside by 7:00 this morning, it was already 71 degrees and muggy out. They say we have a lot of rain moving in later, wait and see I guess. For Breakfast this morning I prepared 2 Jennie Turkey Sausages, 1 Egg Sunnyside Up, and 2 slices of toasted Healthy Life Whole Grain Bread (Lightly Buttered). Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Finished up some laundry for Mom and cleaned up around the house. After Lunch I headed to the Rehab Center to see Dad and also to a Birthday Party for my Aunt who is also over there. Back home and for Dinner tonight I prepared Baked Ham, Salami, and Swiss Mini Sub w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

To make the sandwich I’ll need; Kroger 100% Whole Wheat Hoagie Rolls, Boar’s Head Black Forest Smoked Ham, Boar’s Head Salami, Sargento Ultra Thin Swiss Cheese, Kraft Lite Italian Dressing,
Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil (for brushing the tops of the buns).

I used Boar’s Head Smoke Master Beechwood Smoked Black Forest Ham. I had purchased the Ham at Kroger, on sale the other day. I love all the Boar’s Head Meats and Cheese. Always fresh and lower in calories and sodium, the Ham is 60 calories per serving. Then I also used Boar's Head Salami, 110 calories per serving. For the Cheese I used Sargento Ultra Thin Swiss Cheese which is only 40 calories per slice. To make the Sub I put a slathering of the Kraft Mayo on the bottom half of the Bun. Then layered the Ham, the Salami, Swiss Cheese, Kraft Lite Italian Dressing, and topped with the  top half of the Bun. To help the bun brown a bit I brushed the top of Bun with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I had already preheated the oven to 400 degrees, I then laid the Sub on a small baking sheet and baked it for about 12 minutes. Took it out and the Sub was a light golden brown and the Cheese was melted. Love these Ham and Swiss Subs, along with the added Salami! I prepared one for Mom when she got home later.

I also served the Mini Sub with some Ore Ida Crinkle Fries, served with a side of Hunt's Ketchup. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.

Toasted Ham, Turkey, and Muenster Cheese Sandwich w/ Tomato Soup

Dinner Tonight: Toasted Ham, Turkey, and Muenster Cheese Sandwich w/ Tomato Soup

While at Kroger the other day I was at the Deli buying some Kahn's Bologna. When I seen the Boar's Head Meats, and it was looking real good. So I purchased some Boar's Head Black Forest Ham and Honey Roasted Turkey, sliced nice and thin! I love Boar's Head Meats, always tastes fresh and lower in calories and sodium than most other cold cuts.

To make my Sandwich I'll be using the Boar's Head Black Forest Ham and Honey Roasted Turkey, Private Selection Sliced Muenster Cheese, Private Selection Sweet Hot Stone Ground Mustard, Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil, and Klosterman Wheat Bread. I preheated the oven on 400 degrees. I toasted the Bread, spread the Mustard on the bottom slice of the Bread, layered the Ham, then the Turkey, Spread the Mayo on top of the Turkey, a slice of Muenster Cheese, and topped it with the other slice of Bread. Then I put my Sandwich on a small baking pan, and heated it for about 5 minutes, and served. Just describing this makes me want another Sandwich! The Ham and Turkey combo works great together, along with Muenster Cheese, and the Mustard and Mayo are perfect toppings.

To go with my Sandwich I heated up some Campbell’s Creamy Tomato Soup. It comes in a microwavable container, just heat for 1 minute and 30 seconds and serve. For dessert later a So Delicious Vanilla Mini Ice Cream sandwich (Made with Coconut Milk).

Ham and Turkey Breast Baked Mini Sub w/ Creamy Tomato Soup

Dinner Tonight: Ham and Turkey Breast Baked Mini Sub w/ Creamy Tomato Soup

A beautiful and sunny day out but, A cold breeze and a high of 18 degrees. Tomorrow it's supposed to hit 40 degrees, another one day heat wave! Then again they're saying more snow Friday morning and then again Saturday night and Sunday morning, be glad when this pattern of snow and cold stops. Then there are signs of Spring is on its way, some of the Major League Pitchers and Catchers have reported to Spring Training! Ran an errand for my Mom and that was about it. For dinner tonight, Ham and Turkey Breast Baked Mini Sub w/ Creamy Tomato Soup.

I used Kroger Private Selection Smoked Off the Bone Sliced Ham and Boar's Head Honey Smoked Turkey Breast for my Baked Mini Sub. I had picked the Turkey up while at Jungle Jim's Market yesterday with this Sandwich in mind. Then I used a Meijer Wheat Mini Sub Bun. Layered the Meats on the Bun and topped it with some Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil and a thin slice of Murray's Muenster Cheese. I brushed some Extra Virgin Olive Oil on the top bun, which makes it brown up better. I baked it in a shallow baking pan at 400 degrees until the Cheese started to melt and the Meats were heated. I love using these Meijer Wheat Mini Sub Buns, their just the right size and they toast up fantastic!  I heated a can of Amy's Low Fat Cream of Tomato Soup. Amy's Organic Soups used to be hard to find, at least in this area, and now Kroger, Meijer, and Walmart all sell it. A Baked Sub with Tomato Soup for a cold Winter's Day! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Vanilla Swirl Frozen Yogurt.
