Pinto Beans....
Hint #1 - When cooking dried beans, make sure you add 3 teaspoons of a pure vegetable boil to the water, this will prevent boil over.
Hint #2 - Be sure and check dried beans for any extraneous material that may be in with the beans. Even small stones have been found in bean packages.
Hint #3 - If your cooking the beans in an acid medium, such as tomatoes, this will slow down the cooking time and testing the tenderness is a must.
