Kitchen Hints of the Day!


If you wet your hands with cold water before shaping sausage or hamburger patties, the grease won't stick to your fingers.


Hint 2 of the Day!

When you refrigerate cooked beef, it's fat oxidizes quickly, which will often give day old burgers an "off" taste. If you know you'll be eating tonight's meal tomorrow as well, discourage fat oxidization by not cooking the beef in iron or aluminum pans, and by not salting the meat until you are ready to eat it.
