Dog Fest 2011 West Chester, Ohio

This is non food related but just wanted to give it a free plug. Really a fun time if your in or around the Cincinnati and West Chester, Ohio area.

What is Dog Fest?

Dog Fest originated in 1999 as a community event for West Chester where people could bring their dog or dogs for a day of fun with just a few events and booths, exhibitors and entertainers. Dog Fest, 2011 will draw over 15,000 people and their canine friends, 8 food vendors, 110+ booths, entertainment, demonstrations, contests, and food for the canines and their humans too! Dog Fest’s mission is to educate families about the existence of the many wonderful animal shelters and rescues in the greater Cincinnati area that take in stray and abandoned animals from the streets. They are housed, fed, and provided with veterinary care until loving homes can be found for them.

Many rescues exhibit at Dog Fest and dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages are adopted every year. Dog Fest also provides an opportunity for you and your dog to just come out and have fun, where your dog can participate in games, contests, and even a doggie parade!

Directions to Dog Fest

If you are coming on I75 from the North or the South:
Take I75 to Exit #22 on to Tylersville Road.  Go EAST 0.9 miles.  Cross Cox Road and look for the VOA Museum building and entrance on the Left Hand Side of Tylersville Road.  You’ve arrived at Dog Fest, 2011!  *Please note important information below.

If you are coming on I71 from the North or South:
Take I71 to Exit #19 at Mason-Montgomery Road & Fields Ertel Road.  Go North on Mason-Montgomery Road. 3.6 miles to Tylersville Road.  Take a left and go WEST 2.7 miles, going past the WLW tower and Butler-Warren Road.  Look for the VOA Museum building and entrance on the Right Hand Side.  You’ve arrived at Dog Fest, 2011!  *Please note important information below.

    * PLEASE NOTE:  Cost is $8.00 per car/van donation fee.
    * Entrance to the event is off of Tylersville Road ONLY.
    * Exit from the event is around the back of the VOA Building on to VOA Park Drive, on to Cox Road.
