Bleu Bison Mushroom Burger w/…

Dinner Tonight Mushroom Bison and Bleu Burger w/ Waffle Fries

I made a Bison Burger for dinner tonight. Used Bison Ground Sirloin seasoned with McCormick Steakhouse Grinder Seasoning and topped with Sauteed Mushrooms and Crumbled Bleu Cheese! It was all on an Aunt Millie’s Thinwich Bun. Had a side of Joan of Arc Brand Chili Beans. Added a few dashes of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, Jack Daniels Smoked Honey BBQ Sauce, and crumbled Turkey Bacon. Heated and done!

Pork Roast Sandwich w/ Slow Cooker BBQ Beans

Dinner Tonight: Pork Roast Sandwich w/ Slow Cooker BBQ Beans.

Had a Pork Roast Sandwich along with Slow Cooker BBQ Beans. Used Hormel Pork Roast on an Aunt Millie’s Thinwich Bun along with Horseradish Mustard. As a side had Slow Cooker BBQ Beans. These are very good but not a low calorie food unfortunately, but I love these so I’ll have them every so often. (recipe below)

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb Turkey Bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 cup Hunt’s Ketchup
1/2 cup packed Brown Sugar or 1/4 cup packed Splenda Brown Sugar
1/4 cup mild-flavor (light) Molasses
1 tablespoon Cider Vinegar
1 teaspoon Ground Mustard
2 cans (15.5 oz each) Great Northern Beans, drained, rinsed
1 can (15 oz each) Black Beans, drained, 1/2 cup liquid reserved
Preparing the beans
1 can Chili Beans, drained

DIRECTIONS

* In 10-inch skillet, cook bacon and onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until bacon is crisp and onions are tender; drain.
* In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, mix bacon, onion and remaining ingredients, including reserved liquid. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 to 4 hours.
