To start my morning off I prepared a Poached Egg and served it on a toasted Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. What a day outside today, 80

degrees and sunny! We were all wondering if Spring would ever get here, and I think it has finally. After Breakfast me and Mom headed out to go see Dad for a while. He was doing pretty good today! Back home did a few things around the house and outside. Then at 2:00 I had to take Mom to an eye appointment. It took a while, she has to schedule a Cataract Removal. The Family Doc called and said all my test results came back great! Diabetes 2 numbers looked good along with the Cholesterol and the rest. Back home too much running around today so the Kitchen is Closed! Tonight its Domino’s Pizza!




We got out favorite, Domino’s Hand Tossed Pizza Large with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian
Sausage, Mushrooms, and Black Olives, Green Olives. First Pizza in a while, and it was over due! As always the Pizza arrived on time, hot and delicious! I had a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Coke Zero to drink. The Kitchen will reopen tomorrow! Take care all.

To start my day I toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin that I topped with Smucker's

Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. Also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Our neighbor had to get our morning papers for me this morning. The driveway had ice on it and I've learned my Hoveround doesn't do well on ice! It's one cold morning out there, 3 degrees and a wind chill of -7! It only warmed up to a high of 13 degrees, but the wind chill kept it around zero or below. I drove Mom over to where she gets her hair done in Fairfield and back home for the day. They said we have 1 more day of the bitter cold before a little warmer weather moves in, in the 40's. Just did a few things around the house and then settled in  for an afternoon of Football and Basketball. For Dinner tonight, the Kitchen is Closed! Its Domino's Pizza tonight!



I enrolled us in the Domino's pizza Rewards Program. Mom and Dad order from there quite often,

often enough we have enough points for a free Medium Pizza! A few more calories and carbs than what I normally like to have for dinner but it had been quite a while since I had one and it sounded good, and love the clean up afterward! We ordered a Domino’s Hand Tossed Medium Pizza with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Black Olives, and Green Olives. We had to pay a bit extra for the extra items, but very little.  As always the Pizza arrived on time, hot and delicious! For dessert later a Weight Watcher's Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar. And for the Kitchen, It reopens tomorrow!

Our weather is miserable out today, the humidity level is around 70. No fun being outside today. I did go to Jungle Jim's International Market this morning. Stocked up on some Snapple, Boar's Head Meat and Cheese, Antipasto, Peanut Oil, and a couple of new Cheese I thought I would give a try. You could spend the day there and still not see everything, love that Market! Came home and then took Mom to a flooring store, we're going to replace the kitchen linoleum. Got my results back for my Sugar, Cholesterol, and such with everything looking real good. Didn't feel like cooking so the kitchen is closed and I tried something new from Domino's, the Domino’s Chicken Fried Chicken Pizzas - Spicy Jalapeño-Pineapple.

I had seen the commercials for the Domino’s Chicken Fried Chicken Pizzas - Spicy Jalapeño-Pineapple and finally gave in to it! I ordered Mom and Dad a Pizza and for myself the Chicken Specialty. I had seen bad reviews and good reviews of them so I thought I would see for myself. Basically it's fried chicken pieces covered in sauce, cheese, veggies and meat. Pizza with a breaded chicken crust—basically, all the makings of a pizza, except, instead of a traditional crust, the base for these dishes are pieces of fried chicken. They have 4 different kinds; Classic Hot Buffalo, Crispy Bacon & Tomato, Sweet BBQ Bacon, and the one I tried Spicy Jalapeño-Pineapple.








Of course Mom and Dad's Pizza was great, as always, and my Chicken was incredible! The toppings were perfect and the Chicken was cooked perfect! The serving size is 4 pieces but I went with 6 pieces, very hungry! 6 pieces were about 255 calories and about 23 carbs, not too bad at all. If you haven't tried them give them a try, I enjoyed them. For dessert later a weight Watchers Mini Dutch Chocolate and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Sandwich.

Domino's Specialty Chicken - Spicy Jalapeño-Pineapple

Ingredients: Fried boneless chicken, sweet mango habanero sauce, mozzarella cheese (again, "pizza cheese"), pineapple, jalapeño peppers, cheddar cheese.

Serving size: Four chicken pieces.

Domino's Pizza!?

Today's Menu: Domino's Pizza

I very rarely eat out. I usually make my Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, 7 days a week. But for dinner tonight my parents wanted Pizza and it didn't sound too bad! So I ordered a Domino's Pizza to be delivered. We ordered a Large Pizza with Shredded Provolone Cheese, Normal amount of the Robust Sauce, Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushrooms, Black Olives, on a Hand Tossed Pizza. It's nice not to have to prepare dinner. First time in quite a while. I think we had a Pizza on New Year's Day so it's been a while. Pizza came as ordered hot and delicious, thank you Domino's! For dessert later a slice of Pillsbury Nut Quick Bread, I had baked this earlier in the day. Have a great weekend everyone!
