The Weekend of Fire is a wild weekend filled with fun, food and contests. Over 55 vendors and over 350 samples will be waiting for you in the Fiery Food Expo! There will be vendors coming from all over the country ready to sample their wares. They’ll have hot sauces that range from mild to wild, including some of the hottest hot sauces you have ever tried. Not only are the sauces wild, but wait until you see the people, costumes and booths! The hot sauce community is outrageous, bodacious and contagious!

Along with hot sauce vendors, we’ll have representatives from many other companies: BBQ sauces, salsas, rubs, mustards, spices and even ice cream. Last year we had hot chips and hot ice cream sauces as well. We never know from year to year what new products vendors will bring, but we do know they are ready to sell you your favorites!

The Arena of Fire will be handling some wild contests including eating hot crackers, hot lollipops and hot ice cream with hot toppings and even more. Contests will be held at the top of the hour throughout the event. Make sure you get a seat on the bleachers so you can watch the contests in style!

Then comes Saturday night! The lights are dimmed in anticipation. The crowd excitedly waits for the contestants as they hesitantly gather. Then a creature arrives; half man, half alien. The Defcon Death Match is ready to begin as John Dilley, owner of Defcon Sauces begins the contest. This is the biggest, hottest hot wing contest we’ve seen - and the trophy is just as big!

Here’s one wild weekend with hot food and cool entertainment! Lots of great ‘hot’ people (hot food makers, bloggers and chiliheads) come out for samples, fun, contests, prizes, and great crowds to fill The Oscar Event Center at Jungle Jim’s on October 1st and 2nd. For this weekend only, you can sample and purchase foods from all over the country at our Fiery Food Expo! Hot and fiery or mild and meek; you choose your favorites and can buy enough to last. Hot Sauces, BBQ sauces, salsas, rubs and all sorts of spicy foods will be available – and there’s more! In The Arena of Fire, we’ll have wild and wacky contests beginning on Saturday and running hourly until the show ends on Sunday. And new this year, you can go outdoors; to BBQ Alley, located by the Monorail Station where we'll have food, drinks and fun for everyone!
