No pretension here - just great Ohio beers. We’re celebrating the Buckeye State with a night full of some of the best Ohio breweries we could wrangle, all under one roof. Join us from 7-11pm, we’ll have dozens of beers to sample from our favorite breweries from around the state. There will be live music and we’ll have local food trucks to keep your stomachs full. This is going to be a great Ohio night all around.


Like the premise of the Buckeye Beer Bash, we’re keeping this one simple. For $30 pre-sale, and $35

the day of, you’ll get a glass for sampling and tickets for samples of the Ohio beers of your choice. We want to celebrate Ohio and it’s bountiful beers and breweries, and we want you to enjoy as many as you can (safely, of course). We’ll have dozens of beers to sample from our favorite breweries from around the state. There will be live music from Ron Fletcher and Southern Edge, and we’ll have local food trucks to keep your stomachs full. This is going to be a great Ohio night all around. Don’t want to drink? No worries! Non-drinker tickets are only $5, and we’ll have water available, and food and beverages to purchase.

Our popular barrel aged beer tasting is back and better than ever. This is a "festival style" tasting where attendees will move from booth to booth mingling with other beer lovers and breweries, and of course, sipping plenty of beer. It’s a unique night at our beautiful Oscar Event Center, featuring a wide variety of barrel aged beers in a fun environment. Please note that these beers are best suited for adventure seekers, meaning that they are intensely flavored and have the ‘kick’ to warm you on a cold winter’s night. Start your year off right with an exciting experience like no other at Jungle Jim’s Barrel Aged Beer Bash.


There will be over 40 different types of barrel aged beers available from a variety of brewers. Available for sampling will be rare beers covering a variety of tastes and styles, all aged to perfection. We’re sure you’ll find some new favorites as well as enjoy the classics. A brandy snifter, the glass of choice for a true barrel aged experience, will be provided to commemorate this event. So get your glass and experience some of the finest barrel aged beers around!

Barrel aged beer has a rich history dating back many centuries. For over 400 years, beer has been stored in barrels and aged to a bold, complex taste. Barrels are often made of oak and many have been previously used for bourbon or wine to further enhance the layers of flavor. Barrel aged beer can mature anywhere from a couple of weeks to over a year. There are no exact rules when it comes to producing a quality barrel aged beer, but the end result is a brew that holds its own against the toughest.

The Weekend of Fire is a wild weekend filled with fun, food and contests. Over 50 vendors and more than 300 samples will be waiting for you in this Fiery Foods Show! There will be vendors coming from all over the country ready to sample their hottest foods. They’ll have sauces that range from mild to wild, including ones that might make you believe your mouth is on fire. The sauces aren’t the only wild things in this show - wait until you see the people, costumes and booths! The hot sauce community is outrageous, bodacious and contagious!


The Weekend of Fire is an amazing place for hot sauce lovers, but there is so much more. As you go booth to booth, you’ll try many hot sauces (from mild to wild), but you’ll also find BBQ sauces, salsas, rubs, mustard, spices and even more. If the food can be hot, there is a good chance you’ll find it here.


New This Year - Hot Sauce King and Queen

Weekend of Fire 2014 is looking for its Hot Sauce King and Queen! Festival attendees wearing their most creative, original, and of course, spicy food themed costumes will have a chance at the crown.

Come dressed to impress on the weekend of the show. Judges will be walking around the show to choose a spicy duo for King and Queen. Winners will be announced on both Saturday and Sunday, so come prepared! This is an opportunity to have fun - it’s not an official competition or pageant; judges are on the look out for the best dressed.

The new Kings and Queens will enjoy the spoils of their triumph. Victors will not only hold the title of King or Queen until the next show, but they will also receive some blazing prizes: a basket of goodies and a $50 gift certificate for Jungle Jim’s!

The Beers

We will have over 350 beers from more than 100 different breweries. You will have the chance to try: imported beers, craft beers, hard ciders, beer blending, beer fresh from a firkin (Wow, the beer is fermented inside the barrel) and even taste your way through our new local beer section.

Bonus Brews

These are the beers that set us apart from the rest. Bonus Brews can be any combination of the following: Exquisite, Hard to Find, Highly Rated, Rare, Only sold from the Brewery and certainly not found at other tastings. Look for the Bonus Brews sign at each participating booth.

Food

A complimentary picnic style meal is included with the price of every ticket. Each person going through the food line will receive: a BBQ beef sandwich, potato chips, a choice of coleslaw or potato salad, and a bottle of water.

Cigars

Our cigar expert will be on hand selling a selection of our world class cigars from Jungle’s Humidor. Grab your beer sample and head out on the terrace to enjoy your smoke. You can’t beat that!

Charity

Here’s where you’ll find all the logo wear – a tableful of shirts, hats, and all the beer paraphernalia you can think of (we even had a canoe one year). So step right up, ’cause all proceeds go to charity!
