Dinner Tonight: Grilled Brats, Italian Turkey Sausages, Hot Dogs and Pork Sandwich Patties

Well my Dad's getting much stronger, he's able to walk without a walker now. Spent the afternoon at the
rehab center with him. After getting home I fired up the grill and gathered everything left in the fridge from the other days grill out; Grilled Brats, Italian Turkey Sausages, Hot Dogs and Pork Sandwich Patties. i thought I would grill everything left and I would have my lunch for the next few days also.

I used Queen City Brats, Honeysuckle White Italian Turkey Sausages, Ball Park White Turkey Franks, and Bob Evans Pork Sausage Patties. For my dinner I had a Italian Turkey Sausage and a Pork Sausage Pattie. I served them on Aunt Millie's Light Whole Grain Buns. Topped the Italian Turkey Sausage with French's Spicy Brown Mustard and the Pork Pattie with a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Cheddar/Jack Cheese and an Ice Cold Peach Diet Snapple to drink. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Vanilla Bean Frozen Yogurt.

Grilled Bratts, Turkey Franks, Italian Turkey Sausage, and Pork Patties

Dinner Tonight: Grilled Bratts, Turkey Franks, Italian Turkey Sausage, and Pork Patties

Another beautiful sunny day outside again! I fired the grill up for myself and some friends who were in town. I grilled up some Bratts, Turkey Franks, Italian Turkey Sausage, and Pork Patties.

I used Queen City brand Bratts, Ball Park Turkey Franks, Honeysuckle White Italian Turkey Sausage, and Bob Evans Original Pork Sandwich Patties. I made a side of Tossed salad and also had Ruffles Light Potato Chips. Love these Chips only 80 calories and 17 carbs per serving! I made some Chip Dip using Daisy Reduced Fat Sour Cream and Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix.  For dessert later tonight for myself, Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding. Well I'm off to catch up with some old friends. Have a great weekend!

Grilled Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages w/ Kicked Up Chili Beans

Today's Menu: Grilled Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages w/ Kicked Up Chili Beans

It's been a long night and day. Battling those Phantom Pains again! It started around 3:00 am and hasn't let up through out the day today. The pain is almost unbearable sometimes. The sad part is there is no cure mainly because no one knows what causes them. Most amputees go through these, some worse than others.

Anyway I wanted a good hot meal but really didn't want to have to put a lot of effort in it. So I   fired up the grill and grilled some Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages. I used the Honeysuckle White Brand Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages. i love these, plump and juicy and grill up fantastic! They are 140 calories and 1 carb. I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Hot Dog Bun and topped it with French's Spicy Brown Mustard. For a side I prepared some Kicked Up Chili Beans, another favorite of mine. I used Joan of Arc Spicy Chili Beans  and added Jack Daniel’s BBQ Sauce, Crumbled Turkey Bacon Bits, Splenda Brown Sugar, and a few dashes of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. I left the full recipe at the end of the post. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Free.

Grilled Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages w/ Ore Ida Griller's...

Dinner Tonight: Grilled Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages w/ Ore Ida Griller's Seasoned Thick Potato Cuts

For dinner I grilled Honeysuckle White Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages. Love these great tasting and they grill up plump and juicy! Grilled on medium high for about 8 minutes while turning them often. Served them on Healthy Life Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns and topped with Frisch’s Spicy Brown Mustard. For sides I tried another new one, Ore Ida Griller's Seasoned Thick Potato Cuts. Ore Ida has got another winner with these! Nice thick cut of Potatoes with some great seasoning. You can bake them, roast them or even grill them. I also had one of my favorite drinks a Diet Dr. Pepper, same great taste but without the calories or carbs. For dessert later

Ore Ida Seasoned Thick Potato Cuts

Call it a seasoned professional.
More potato. More flavor. Sprinkled with black pepper, herbs and spices, these crispy grilled potatoes are anything but boring.
