Airwaves Kite Fest

It’s not food related but it’s always a fun time with some beautiful sites with all the kites. If you live in or around the area check it out this weekend.

 The Otto M. Budig Family Foundation
 presents Airwaves Kite Fest
 April 14 and 15 at The Voice of
 America Park.

 Hosted by WGUC, this annual family
 friendly event features kite ballet
 performances, kite-building workshops,
 open kite-flying fields and much more.

 The event is offered noon to 5 p.m.

Located on 330 acres at Tylersville and Cox Road in West Chester, Ohio, Voice of America Park is the former location of the Bethany Station, the first Voice of America radio facility capable of broadcasting worldwide. Its flat fields, favorable winds and place in broadcast history make it the perfect place to launch this exciting community event.

Parking:
Parking for this year's Kite Fest will ALL be OFFSITE with shuttle buses delivering you to the kite flying fun.

Only guests with approved handicapped parking permits will be allowed to park at VOA Park and Museum.

Parking donations of $2 will be accepted to support the Voice of America Museum.
